A Surprisingly Quiet Escape!Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: hotel staff, comfy bed, room lighting and outlets.
Cons: television quality, channel lineup, wi-fi internet.
Location: Plenty of shopping and restaurants along the 16-Mile and Rochester Road corridors.
I have been doing a lot of hotel hopping in Oakland County as of late. And it is hard to find a place where slamming doors and noisy, inconsiderate guests do not abound. I stayed on the bottom floor. I did not once hear anything from above. The television channels and quality left some to be desired. And the wi-fi was not good and the slowest I have seen at a hotel thus far in my lifetime. But if those things are less important to you than getting a good night's rest in a comfortable and quiet setting, then this is your hotel!

quite inexpensive rate, but you get what you pay for. front desk worked with us to get two rooms close together, but not adjoining as requested.

Nice Holiday Getaway !Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Closeness to everything I needed to do. Quiet surroundings, far enough from busy street.
Cons: Cable system, so time consuming to change channels and difficult. I stayed when the HBO booked ended -new one was not available next day.
Location: Shopping nearby, Lots of wonderful restaurants, and golfing is not to far away.
Short stay while plumbing was being worked on. Room comfortable and clean. Served its purpose. Would stay here again if necessary. Cable system needs to be improved.

Excellent staff!Posted Aug 11, 2014
It was our first time at the Red Rood, my wife and I decided to take two days trip to the states. We booked thou expidia and has a good deal. When we arrived we were greaded with a friendly smile, and got a lot of help dercting us where to go for shopping, restaurant, ect The staff on duty even printed direction for us. It was really nice of her. How ever when we got to the room it didn't look at new as the pictures on expidia was showing, the bed sheets had stains on then, we talked to the staff and they exchanged our room and have us different bed sheets. We end up staying and new time we would stay we would reserve deractly from Red Roof. After all we had a good time.

From the moment I checked in with the front in desk employee being super friendly and helpful, to the room being clean. I had an overall wonderful experience at this hotel. I have stayed here multiple times and always come back.

Terrible !Posted Jul 27, 2014
They didn't have an iron & ironing board, no lotion, no blow dyer and it had a hole in the wall. The bathtubs floor was dirty and there were stains on the blanket. This was the worst hotel EVER!

Great deal and good locationPosted Jul 24, 2014
Due to a recent move to Michigan, we had to live temporarily in a hotel and therefore were at the Red Roof Inn for a few weeks. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel and our stay was really enjoyable. It was especially great that they are accommodating for pets as we had our cat with us!
