“Quaint and off the beaten path”

This was a quaint privately owned hotel off the beaten path. We were pleasantly surprised by how awesome it was. It is located right on the riverfront which would probably be gorgeous in the summer time. The staff was very welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one. By the way you must try the lemon water they have in the lobby, it is awesome, especially when you have a hangover.

I felt like I was in a classy Humphrey Bogart film.

“Detroit at its most interesting”

This hotel is a unique experience. The guests and staff have character. The location om the river with ample riverwalk space is really beautiful. This hotel provides a fascinating bridge between the old stately years and Detroit as it is today.

“Beautiful”

Beautiful hotel on the water. Wish it could be closer to downtown and could have better parking. Great for business travelers.

“Safe and friendly”

The Staff couldn't have been more nice !!!! This Hotel is Beautiful ! We were there from a friday to monday and went to two Red Wings games ! The shuttles us there and back .. We will most deffinatly stay there again!!!!! The only thing that kinda bugged me was that house keepig never came to bring us new towles or clean the room the whole time we were ther but when I saw them in the hall and asked for more towles the got them to me fast and made sure we didn't need anything else . Being from iowa and never been to Detroit before I was very nervous about being in a safe place... and I never felt not safe here !!! Awesome Awesome experiance Plus a Great view of Canada !!!
