Great Bang for the ValuePosted Oct 20, 2013
Cons: really could use some updating.
Location: Close to airport, Speedway across the street
Very happy with my last stay here. Check-in was efficient. Hotel was actually kicking out a couple that had gotten to loud. Room wasnt up to date with all of the latest and greatest, but was about 1/2 of what I normally pay for a hotel room. For the 40 bucks, I got a clean room and got a great nights sleep. Breakfast is basic, but for what I paid I had lots left over for a better meal if i wanted one, but a cup of juice and a prepackaged danish worked for me.

I would stay there againPosted Aug 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The desk clerk was friendly. The rooms was clean just wish I could get better reception on the tv. And our bedding was changed on our 3rd night there and not the last night there. But overall my stay was nice.

OK for a very short stayPosted Aug 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed at the hotel for my overnight layover in Detroit, it is pretty close to the airport and restaurants which is great. The staff was very helpful. It is a bit old, but my room is pretty clean.......except that the bath tub which is really scary. It freaked me out but otherwise the price is very good for what I've had.

The microwave had malfunctioned and was beeping until it was unplugged. The room A?C system was so old that the buttons were all gone and could not even be adjusted. Also the A?C system was leaking and the rug around it was wet. I called the management's attention to these.

Cheap hotel and smoke-filled roomsPosted Jul 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our room said non-smoking, but we definitely smelled the after-effects of smoking. This is a cheap hotel. You may want to pay a little more for a lot better value.

Good bed, terrible bathroomPosted Jul 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
The bed was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was not particularly and was in poor repair. For a one night stay on my way elsewhere, it did the job. The refrigerator was convenient to have, but unfortunately the microwave didn't work. We could have probably gotten all the issues sorted out, and the staff seemed nice, but we were tired and it didn't much matter to us. This area near the airport was actually a lot better than some of the other airport hotels, so that was nice. Shuttle service to the airport and continental breakfast were both pluses.

Good valuePosted Jul 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Your basic motel to lay your head down for the night, though the window A/C leaked water onto the carpet below making it damp to step on.
