Amazing beds!Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: Clean, bright and cheerful. Did I mention the beds? Wow - amazing. You will sleep like a baby!
Cons: Restaurant could be open for evening meals.
Location: Close to the airport. Near restaurants.
This is a lovely hotel. The staff are welcoming as you walk through the door. The room was clean and very pleasing - but the beds! Wow! This must be the closest I will ever get to sleeping on a cloud! There are numerous places to eat around the area. We had hoped to eat in the hotel but the restaurant is not open in the evenings on weekends. However, there are quite tasty and substantial snacks at the bar. We had burgers and fries. Very tasty and reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet is pricey but could be good if you can eat a lot. The menu is also available with lots of choice. We were a little put off by the waitress who was quite loud in asking one gentleman if he was eating alone. Her voice carried across the dining room. When I signed the bill with our room number, she announced to all that she had to check that to see if I was who I said I was! The airport shuttle is very convenient and the drivers very helpful and friendly.

Good location near AirportPosted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Location and cleanliness.
Cons: The breakfast is not included and the buffet was quite expensive for a family. We were 5 and it cost us $60 each morning.
Location: lots of restaurants , near the interstate, about 20 minutes from downtown Detroit.
We stayed here for 4 nights . We were picking up someone at the airport and it is very close. Lots of restaurants nearby and close to the interstate. Our room had an indoor balcony looking over the pool. Clean room and friendly staff. The only negatives would be the high cost for breakfast. The other thing was that we were 5 people and they always left only 3 towels after they cleaned the room but on the other hand , I don't mind re-using my bar soap but they kept replacing it every day.

Very good value for the moneyPosted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: For around $100 per night through Expedia, I don't think you can beat that for this hotel
Cons: Rooms need a mini fridge
Location: The area is a bit quiet for shopping and restaurants but we had a very good experience and meal at The Merriman Street Grille
Close to the interstate (I 94) for our needs as we were going back and forth to Michigan Speedway. Its a but farther away from MIS but its worth it for what we like. Very comfy beds, super clean, great staff and no surprises

My grandaughters wedding nightPosted Aug 11, 2014
I purchased a night at the Sheraton Hotel for my Grandaughter's honeymoon night. When checking her in around 10:30-11:00 pm I asked the girl at the front desk if they get a free breakfast and she said yes. In the morning when my grandaughters husband went down to get the free breakfast he was turned away. The woman told him he needed a breakfast coupon to be able to eat there for free. The couple is 19 years old and probably did not realize that he needed to complain at the front desk so they went without a breakfast the day after they were married. I was very dissappointed because the front desk never told us that they needed a coupon to get a free breakfast in the morning. Very Very upset that they were turned away on such a special morning. Linda Beesley By the way they were in the club King room which was more expensive.

Great hotelPosted Jul 20, 2014
Great hotel to stay at before you fly out. Wake up call right on time and the parking with shuttle is right next door.

Aging hotel, decently kept upPosted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Average hotel, definitely aging, the rooms were quite and the bed comfortable
Cons: It should be renewed and freshened up, it does not stand up to the Sheraton name expectation.
Only three minutes drive from the airport, but a poor communication with the shuttle dispatcher keep me waiting 35 minutes.

Hotel was very nice. Only problem was indoor pool in the lobby was very noisy...especially if you wanted to sit and have a drink or a bite to eat.
