The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and polite. The mall is just across the street, which is great and convenient.

“Very good hotel”

Stayed at the Somerset for 2 days to attend a wedding reception in the hotel. Booked two ground floor rooms for my wife and me as well as a nearby room for my daughter, her husband and my toddler grandson. The rooms opened onto an impressive patio/garden, studded with tables and chairs and plantings. Had a great time chasing after my grandson. Shared champagne with the adults outdoors. Service was excellent; when I needed help at the front desk, I received it. The hotel restaurant was okay, but just okay. Service was attentive, but the was food prepared as though bland is a good thing. The hotel, however, is highly recommended.

Easy access, convenient parking. Front desk was extemely helpful. My room was upgraded and was very nice. I ate the restaurant and had good selection, tasty food and friendly efficient staff. Good stay.

Stayed prior to a girl's day at Somerset Collection. This hotel was so close and so convenient. Beyond that, the rooms are very nice and well maintained.

I remember when this hotel was built and it still appears to be in new condition. Desk personnel were pleasant and efficient, room was clean, everything worked (TV, lights, etc.). Liked the experience so much that I booked it for a three day stay for a couple of weeks from now.

Stayed one night on business. Could not be better. New, ultra clean room with great bed and chrystal clear 42" flat screen TV. Staff 101%. Full service breakfast for $10 in very nice hotel restaurant. I travel a lot and this hotel is extremely nice. Will use always now.

I am a business traveler who stayed at this hotel approximately 60 nights in 2011. It is always VERY clean, so I always bring my family there to stay when visiting relatives in the Detroit area as well. The staff is very accomodating and friendly.
