Great Hotel in Perfect Location to DTW

Cons: Nothing
Location: Within 1 mile of Detroit Metro Airport. Perfect location
The hotel is modern,clean and quiet. Has great bedding, a large screen HDTV that actually plays HD stations and offer a very nice hot breakfast. I would stay hear again.

No separate door

Really nice modern hotel. I liked the decor and the room was very clean and the bedding was comfortable. It was very convenient to the airport. The one drawback for us is that we booked a suite, assuming that there would be a door to close between the bedroom and the sitting area, but all the rooms are actually studio suites.

Disappointing

Pros: The breakfast was great as well as the woman attending the counter.
Cons: If you soeak to the front desk on the phone and they promise a 1st floor Handicap room then they should be aware of it and make it happen.
Location: Ok, next to a sports bar.
Lobby clean and nice, front desk people pleasant. Request for 1st floor handicap room not honored. Big red stain on carpet in room. toilet paper holder and twisted wire in room 307. Requested a taxi. Front deck called an unmarked Dodge Charger. the hotel is 2 miles from the hotel and the rate was $18.

Dear Janet, thank you for your recent stay at the Springhill Suites by Marriott DTW. First off please let me apologize about the condition of your room. I have brought these issues to the attention of the housekeeping and maintenance staff so that we can get them resolved. As far as the request for a handicap accessible room on the first floor, unfortunately we don't have any accessible rooms on the first floor. They are located on either the 2nd , 3rd or 4th floors. I will make sure the staff knows this so that they don't give guests any incorrect information going forward. Thanks and have a good day. Sincerely, Management

I cannot thank Alex and Megan enough. They went above the call of duty to ensure that my wife and I had a pleasant trip. They were fantastic, The hotel staff and the facility itself were all top rate will certainly be back.

Great hotel stay in Detroit!

The hotel was close by the airport, close by the highway, and only about 15 mins from the downtown area. Rooms were clean, staff was nice and helpful. I called earlier in the day to let them know I would be checking in late. They made a note of my message and my check-in was smooth sailing! I would stay here again!

Pros: The breakfast.
Cons: Cleanliness in the room.
Location: Easy access to the airport.
I expected better for the price. The sink was plugged! The shower leaked a considerable amount of water on to the tle floor outside the shower. Breakfast was delicious, hot and fresh.

Not Clean and Not Accommodating with Toiletries

We stayed as a family of 5 and we got to the room to find deep stains in the carpet. Hair on our pillow. As a family of 5 we expected towels and other toiletries like soap and toilet paper to be available on going especially since we were their for 5 days. This was not the case. Many times we had to wait to take showers as towels were drying. We had to keep calling for tissue as they would only give us one at a time. Will NOT return to this hotel especially since there are many more right in the area.
