Super dirty room. Switched to a new room and it was also very dirty with hairs in the beds and in the shower.

It appears my room wasn't clean, washroom was dirty and bed had stains. Was to tired to have management remedy the situation as I was there for only one night.

My mom was in the hospital at Beaumont in Royal Oak. I needed a place for one night. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable, with lots of pillows to prop myself up while watching T.V. The front desk attendant could hear me struggling to open my door ( I was on the 1st floor) and she immediately came to the rescue and gave instructions on how to open the door. ( a little different than most places). Overall very satisfied.

The staff was very good - not including housekeeping. There was always bags of trash in the hallway of our floor. I question the cleanliness of the room - found a pair of underwear on the floor - it was not ours! Saw the maid in the hall a few times - no smile, no comment, she just stared us down like we were in her way. Saturday night had to call the front desk to end the party next door - loud music, and the hallway was filled with cigarette smoke (and was penetrating our room). Lighting in the room is poor. On a lighter note: front desk staff and breakfast room staff was very good, as was the food. I won't be recommending this hotel.

Overall from checking in to check-out was nice. My only concern is the walls are a little thin as i can hear others yelling or their TV. Walking into the room the place was overall nicely clean, just the phone was filthy and caked with dust and the sheets could of used another wash as they lacked scent, but they didnt smell or have stains. The shower had no shampoo at all and lacked tissue paper from their box, lack of coat hangers too. But everything worked and was nice and cozy. There is no thermostat just a big A/C machine that also functions as a heater which was lovely. The staff was friendly, but there was a person who was knew and didnt know any answers to questions i asked, but they're new, no harm done. The ice machine are on the second and third floor, i stayed on the first and had to walk all thr way up and through the hall for any ice which was a bummer and took a few minutes. The listing is advertised as a laundry but they dont have thay service. Overall breakfast was nice, room, decently clean with no odor. I will book again, especially for the price.

Check-in was quick once the front desk employee arrived after about 20 minutes. She had a situation to address. She waa courteous once she assisted me. Coffee waa cold in lobby. Cookie holder was empty. Was told they don't provide on weekends. Clock radio and phone were not plugged in. TV waa not workin. I asked for new remote control batteries. They were provided, but TV still didn't work. Walls are thin. I could hear the TV next door and the other wall, I could hear the woman talking on her cell phone. If you need a quick night, this hotel may work for you, but don't expect a fancy hotel. Bed waa ok.

We stayed for a night because my wife has an exam next day and we live 2 hr away from the center. The hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Staffs are friendly. It was quiet.

The front desk attendant was lovely. However, the loud noise from people in other rooms (all night), the excessively loud blower fan in the room, PLUS the constant smell of weed made my stay unbearable! I was awake all night.

The double beds mattress are not to comfortable. Shower handle was broken as soon as I tried to turn it on it fell right off. The inside door of my hotel room didn't turn back up it was off base so I had to use the double lock to lock my door. TV is outdated and I don't know what water you guys use maybe it's well water but I know it made my skin very dry. Won't be back

Staff was excellent, but the hotel needs a lot of up keep on it. Had to change my room twice one from the smoke detector hanging from the ceiling and then I had to change the second room from bugs that I saw( not going to go in detail) but it definetly needs work done to the rooms and housekeeping needs to be better. Highly doubt that I would stay here again. But the staff was top tier!

For a nights stay it was fine. The outlet on the left side of the bed needs to be tightened and overall didn’t work. but I had a nice stay I would book again for a short stay.

Positive: Everything looks brand new. Safe area. Easy check in. Decent breakfast options. Negatives: Hairs of all sorts all over both beds, upon arrival - apparently they just made the bed and didn't replace the sheets after the last guests? Could not get hold of front desk multiple times by phone. Mentioned it to front desk staff in person, but no action was taken or suggested, which makes it appear that they're aware of this issue and don't care. Other reviews seem to say the same thing - new facilities, dirty rooms. Would probably look elsewhere next time.
