“Some maintenance needed”

“NOT 3& A HALF STAR”

HAVE STAYED HERE WHEN IT WAS A HILTON NO AMENITIES ARE LEFT OR WORKING. NOT EVEN A PEN OR NOTE PAD, NO COFFEE MACHINE IRON ETC. THE BED WAS COMFY. OKAY FOR THE PRICE BUT SHOULD BE DOWN GRADED TO 2 STAR. WAS TOLD THAT NEW OWNERS ARE TAKING OVER.

“Not Impressed”

When I check in I got a completely uncleaned, unmade up room. I was given another room that was clean. This was at 5pm. There is no excuse to not get a room done by then. The location is awesome, but even my clean room, with balcony, was dimly lit with every light on. OK for travel, it isnt a place Id want to stay more than a single night.

This is a gr8 location, right off I 75, close to Somerset Mall and lots of businesses and doctors offices.

“Will Be Going Back”

The beds are super comfy. The room was very clean and cozy. The only bad thing is the walk from the parking lot to the room. Will definitely be going back there again. It was a great value!!

“A Decent Place to Stay”

Mostly used the hotel as a place to rest my head when I wasn't going elsewhere. So, it served that function quite nicely. I wish there had been more towels in the room, so I didn't have to go requesting them. However, all told it was a decent place to stay. I liked the decorations around the exterior. :)

“Will Not go Back to Met Hotel”

I used Expedia to book my flight and hotel for a set price. Upon arrival, the night auditor requested my credit card. I was under the assumption the request for my credit card would was for future movies purchased or for room service. My first mistake was making this assumption. My second mistake was another assumption that the night auditor could see that the room had been paid for prior to check-in. Due to these assumptions, I was double charged for my room and without "X" amount of money for my entire trip. The refund finally processed four business days later. There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room, so I had to request at minimum a microwave which was denied to me twice over the phone until I decided to walk to the front desk and ask a third time. Overall, I can't say I was completely dissatisfied as the room was clean and I slept on a king bed; however, it's the little things and customer service could have done to make me change my mind and they did no such thing.

“Hotel a little worse for wear”

We were put in a 1st floor room but changed because the beds were made but the room not completely cleaned. They were very nice and changed us right away. The room was comfortable but the hotel seemed a little worn around the edges. Overall the experience was good.

“STAY AWAY AT ALL COST UNLESS YOU HAVE LOTS OF TIME”

WHERE DO I START I HAD TO WAIT IN LINE FOR 3.5 HOURS FOR THE FIRST ROOM WHEN I GOT IN IT HAD LUGGAGE IN IT AFTER ANOTHER 20MIN WAIT I HAD KEYS TO MY SECOND ROOM THE KEYS WOULD NOT OPEN THE DOOR ANOTHER 15 MIN WAIT MY SECOND SET OF KEYS UN LOCKED THE DOOR GUESS WHAT? IT ALSO HAD LUGGAGE IN IT I PUT IT IN THE HALL WAY AND TOLD THE FRONT DESK TO PICK IT UP SOMEONE WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WHEN THY CAME BACK TO NO ROOM. THE ROOM HAD NO TOWELS WE HAD TO GET THEM FROM THE POOL AREA WE CAME TO DETROIT FOR THE DREAM CRUISE AND MISSED THE WHOLE THING TRYING TO CHECK INTO A HOTEL THAT SHOULD TAKE 10MIN AT THE MOST BEWARE THEY GAVE US BREAKFAST THAT SUCKED IF I HAD MORE ROOM THEIR IS MORE TO TELL

“Older hotel 60's - 70's that has redone”

Excellent breakfast went with the cost of the room-good location near I-75, large room with a very comfortable bed--would go back again-recently been refurbished-new carpet,etc. Could have used a mini-fridge and coffee maker in the room, and some info about the hotel- Overall an excellent deal for the price
