“Good Value”

Great value for a lovely hotel. It was clean with nice amenities. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The "continental breakfast" has been reduced to a pastry, juice and coffee or tea.

“Will Be Going Back”

The beds are super comfy. The room was very clean and cozy. The only bad thing is the walk from the parking lot to the room. Will definitely be going back there again. It was a great value!!

“Fair price for the accomodation.”

Very nice accomadation, but the hotel lobby had a uninviting, almost stagnant scent when I arrived, which as far a first impressions go, did not impress me. My hotel room itself was comfortable and inviting.

“Not bad at all.”

Great price for the hotel. Pool was nice and warm, but no hot tub Cable was not working. This hotel also charges a non-refundable $5 service charge. It's ridiculous, never had that before. Comfortable rooms and heater worked fine. However, our second room next door was missing footstool and the toilet was broken.

“Good Night's Sleep :P”

very friendly staff. quieter than we expected, which was good. (But my boyfriend did wonder where all the other guests were LOL) We totally agree about the bed - super comfortable! our bathroom wasn't the brightest and the tub looked like it could've been scrubbed a little harder/longer. came down to watch the hockey game. So the location was about 20-30min drive away from the arena and the outlets. But definately would stay again :)

“Older hotel 60's - 70's that has redone”

Excellent breakfast went with the cost of the room-good location near I-75, large room with a very comfortable bed--would go back again-recently been refurbished-new carpet, etc. Could have used a mini-fridge and coffee maker in the room, and some info about the hotel- Overall an excellent deal for the price

“Really comfortable hotel in Troy MI”

The beds in this hotel were very comfortable. The linens were especially nice, including the pillows. The bathroom was well-lit. The tub/shower was roomy with tons of hot water. I was only five minutes from my meeting. I would stay here again for sure.

“might not use again!”

1)don't go to Detroit only once a year 2) no cable available cuz changing servers 3) no complimentary breakfast 4) Breakfast was very expensive and did not tell us we had to pay $11.99 per person for it. Wasn't worth it!! For $11.99 I expected a lot more for the breakfast than eggs, bacon and cold fried potatoes, fruit, oatmeal, toast and milk. Drinks were extra. Was bummed about the cost!! 5) Pool was nice and so was the exercise room-- did not have time to use them though.

“Good Value for a Good Hotel”

This is a former Hilton hotel and I was very pleased with the room and the value I received thru Expedia's preferred rate. My king room was clean and large with a comfy sofa and the bed was very comfortable too. TV was old and the bathroom was small but functional. SMOKING: Michigan has adopted a no-smoking law which bans cigarette smoking from all hotel rooms (boo!) but the Met has balconies so you don't have leave your room for a cigarette -- a very handy and rare feature these days. All in all, I give the experience a 4 out of 5, taking off 1/2 pts for older TV and smaller bathroom.
