Comfortable Night's Stay

Although it may have only been an 8 hour stay, the room was very cozy. The highlight was how comfortable the bed actually was. Made us want to buy one just like it!! The only downside to the stay was the parking. It was not very convenient to have to walk all the way around the building in 0 degree temps. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

Detroit autoshow hotel

The hotel in itself is impeccable. The room is clean, beds are comfortable, big screen TV, marble bathroom. The hotel staff goes out of its way to please guests. The hotel has a true feel of luxury to it. I came there to stay the night before spending the next day at the Detroit autoshow. For that purpose, the hotel is a little bit out of the way so a car is definitely needed.

Exc. hotel close to airport and Henry Ford Museum

Cons: Cleanliness of the room - rug was spotted and dirty looking, and we found pieces of debris.
Staff was extremely cooperative, and food at hotel restaurant was excellent.

Confronted by officious manager, 11.30pm 30F & raining (after 12 hrs on the road), denied accommodation as dogs above 40lbs (average Labrador??).

The Henry, I'm afraid, is highly over-rated. To begin with, when we checked into our room, I discovered two used tissues on the bathroom counter. The carpets were frayed. There's a sheen of grime on metal surfaces. At the bar, I ordered a dozen oysters at $4 apiece while a nearby restaurants was selling them for less than $2 apiece. On checkout, my invoice had my name, but an unfamiliar address printed on it. I won't be going back to The Henry.

Went to Detroit for a tournament last weekend. This hotel was one of the highlights for our trip.
