Barely Adequate and Lacking Many Amenities

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Good location Good price
Cons: They need to provide more hand towels; hairdryers. They need to fix the crumbling ceiling. They need to fix the water problem with alternating hot/co
At first glance our hotel room at the Met appeared okay until we started needing amenities that were not available in our room. When I went to wash my hands in the bathroom there was only one hand towel. When I asked at the desk for more hand towels, the receptionist handed me two washcloths instead. Evidently they did not have any more hand towels available. The ceiling near the window was peeling and bits dropping down on the carpet. There must be a water problem in that spot. The next morning I showered and washed my hair. I had to turn the faucet as hot as it would go because the water would alternate between cool and hot; there was never a steady temperature throughout the whole time. I went to blow dry my hair after the shower and low and behold, there was no hair dryer available. I was very disappointed in our stay due to the above events. Will not plan on staying there again. Sorry!

Bargain, No bargain. DIRTY and neglected hotel.

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Bed was comfortable. Bath towels were plush.
Cons: Attention of staff to guests' needs. HOUSEKEEPING needs improving. Hotel is severely outdated.
At least the bed was comfortable. Accommodations were assigned at far end of hotel( must have been the forgotten wing). Hallway carpet dirty with stain. Upon entering room carpet was badly stained. Ancient TV with very limited channels. Bathroom was not stocked with toilet paper. We called to front desk for toilet paper, but no one ever came. Asked for our room to cleaned and appropriately stocked the next day; HOUSEKEEPING never came. With the amount of cigarette butts in the entryway, it is evident that the night desk clerk is more focused on smoking than being attentive to guest requests.

We only stay there because our trade show is there

Posted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: It was cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Cons: Far too much to mention.
To charge for their "breakfast" is criminal. We had to go back twice, as the eggs & sausage had not arrived. $6 for mushy pastries, bad coffee, styrofoam plates and no utensils. There was absolutely no service, and no supervision. The man in front of us took every single sausage patty and egg patty, leaving just 1 of each for my husband & I to share. The rooms need to be overhauled - the bathrooms are a little scary. The room was clean enough, but the staff was not all that helpful.

Cheap in every sense of the word. If you are only staying ONE night and don't care about mold, hair in the tub, old dirty furniture, noisy neighbors, cold water, slow drains, crusty stuff on the walls and dimly lit parking lots. This hotel is the one for you. You get what you pay for.

Horrible experience

Posted Oct 6, 2014
No room service,no breakfast,NO COFFEE in the morning. About 200 guests were out in corridors yelling and laughing until 4am,concierge said there was nothing he could do. For those of us who booked our room to rest,we got 2 h of sleep at best, before important meetings/exams. This hotel is a joke.

Nice hotel for overnight stay

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: It was close to the wedding we were attending
Cons: Pay more attention to room cleanliness
The hotel was nice, the room was nice, however, the toilet stopped working in the morning and we noticed what appeared to be dried vomit on the bottom side of the couch which we didn't see until morning...Gross! We told management about it so hopefully all will be taken care of for next quests. The management seemed very accommodating and it seemed like a very nice hotel for the short time we were there.

Very disappointed

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: the front desk guy was nice.
Cons: remodel all the rooms and put a coffee pot in the rooms for heavens sake. hire better housekeepers. Rooms werent as clean as they could have been.
Location: easy off the highway but no resteraunt near by that is open late.
The TV didnt work, it was snowy looking, no fridge in the room, and NO COFFEE POT in the room. There wasnt even coffee in the lobby. The front desk person didnt have time to make any. The furniture was dirty. If you want a hotel to have a huge party and rent a bunch of rooms together, I guess this would be your hotel, but if you are traveling and want a clean relaxing night, go somewhere else. I wont rent from here again.

Decent hotel for the price

Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Bed was comfortable, and the staff was nice.
Cons: Update the hotel, completely
Location: Location was ok.
Not a pleasant experience. Should have been a balcony room, and it wasn't. Asked to switch, and was told no. Too much trouble for the cleaning staff to deal with. Hallways in the hotel were icy cold. Only heat, was in the rooms.
