Great Hotel...2 Thumbs up! :-)

Pros: I loved the disposition of each staff member...Warm and Inviting, plus the hotel location is perfect. Workout gym & indoor pool...2 thumbs up!
Cons: Upgrades to the room's Carpets, Furniture and paint in restroom along with restroom fixtures. This will give the hotel a 5 star feel.
I had a good and peaceful experience. I enjoyed the restaurant and Starbucks inside this hotel...very convenient.

Short but great trip

Pros: Staff, bed, cleanliness
Cons: Breakfast buffet
Location: Really close to major highways, didn't do much in the area. When I was driving to put gas in the car, Southfield looked ok
Short but great stay. Had some things delivered, staff were awesome. Only critique for me; wasnt impressed with the breakfast buffet.

Great room bed and pillows. But the tub was very slow to drain😕

Good hotel.

Good hotel. The decor has gone down. It's no the most family friendly hotel if you have smaller children. The TV channels are not the best for kids. The hotel is more of a party hotel. Lots of reunions and gatherings. You have to pay $7 daily for internet.

Nice hotel near Lawrence Technological University.

Pros: The lobby is beautiful. Buffet breakfast is very good.
Cons: The rooms and hallway need to be renovated. The carpet in the hallway and room is old and dirty. Unable to swim in the pool. Too shallow and small.
Location: Across Lawrence Technological University and close to I 75.
I reserved a room with a sofa bed. But there was no sofa bed in the room. So I went back to the front desk and told the same person who did the check-in for me earlier. He said I did not booked with the hotel directly and he cannot promise that I will get the sofa bed. He asked if I would like him to check to see if there was any available. He found one and changed my room. My reservation confirmed that I booked a king bed with a pull out sofa bed. So I don't understand why he gave me a hard time. He make me feel as if it was my fault just because I did not booked directly with the hotel. We were tired after a long drive from Toronto and my family and I didn't appreciate this.

A bit far from the airport, but comfortable

Cons: Wi-fi service was slow, not always available, and disconnected frequently.
Location: Secluded, nothing to do unless you have a car.
Its a $50+ from the airport. If you don't have a car there aren't other restaurants withing walking distance. Tango the hotel restaurant had a good menu, the bar and restaurant staff were quick and very nice, the food and lunch buffet good; better than expected. Lobby- nice, workout room a bit small for the number of people it services, its a very busy hotel. Could use another small snack/dining option as Starbucks closes at 2 pm. The hotel staff were extremely quick to address your needs and polite, although the information given wasn't always accurate. The room was well taken care of, the bed not very comfortable mainly due to a comforter that must have weight 25 lbs.

More for business travel

Very nice hotel but nothing within walking distance. No continental breakfast and I found it impossible to find a place to sit and grab a simple cup of coffee on Sunday morning. most hotels if they do not offer breakfast will have a coffe/tea tray somewhere in the lobby, not in this case.
