This hotel is in a great location. It is walking distance to Comerica Park, Ford Field, Fox Theater, & the Opera House. If you are not a 'walker', there is a People Mover station across the street. Also, there are several eating places in the immediate area. We wanted to stay over night rather than drive home after the Tiger game. It was our first time staying at the Weston Book Cadillac & we were quite pleased!!

Friendly staff in a great location.

Staff was fantastic and the hotel was beautiful! The staff gave us a free upgrade and were very helpful. The room was big and very clean. Valet service was very quick during the checkout rush which is unusual but great!

Internet is slow

Posted May 9, 2015
Pros: Bed was comfortable, room was great.
Cons: Internet speed
The internet in the room is very slow. It was difficult to work. Also, there are no vending machines in the hotel or anywhere near.

Good stay!

This is a wonderful hotel. Very friendly and clean. Good amenities and service. I highly recommend it if you are in the Detroit area! We had a fire in the basement at 4am. The hotel gave us a complimentary breakfast for our inconvenience! They are very accommodating!

Overall it was nice. Room was wonderful, spacious and very comfortable. Room service great. Main restaurant was closed and the bar was lovely ... just needed servers. The valet was super busy due to an event and got hectic with traffic. Bellman were super nice & helpful.

I was in Detroit to help my son and daughter in law move into their new house. Unfortunately, as were pipe broke under their basement floor and we were forced to leave for three days. I chose the Westin because of previous stays but did not know anything about the one in downtown Detroit. We were so pleased with the hotel itself, the staff and the comfortable and spacious rooms. Our stay there made an intolerable situation into a pleasant experience.

A short one night stay to see Motown Museum and attend a great concert at the Fillmore. Close to everything. My teenagers enjoyed the 24 Grille, coffee shop and lobby Cafe for midnight pizza. Staff were great especially the valet guys.
