“decent for a night”

I made a reservation days in advance and it wasn't too pricey, but had friends check in the day of our event and were charged double. A little ridiculous since the hotel is THAT great.....

“Friendly, Efficient Service”

My 3 day stay was comfortable, quiet. The single room was spacious with a couch & table, small fridge & microwave & coffeemaker. The desk clerks & cleaning staff were efficient & friendly. My only negative was that the carpet was a bit old & stained, but appeared freshly vacuumed. The price was definitely reasonable in comparison with surrounding hotels. I will stay here again the next time I am in the area.

“Our Honeymoon”

My husband and I were there for our honeymoon (Sun. - Thurs.) and we had the jacquzzi suite. The only "issue" that we had was that there were no flat-screen tv's. My husband is spoiled lol and LOVES his flat-screens! Also there should be an addtion to the breakfast buffet of mixed fruit, i.e. watermelon, grapes, strawberries, etc. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return in the future!

“great for the price”

large clean rooms priced at a good value. we had 3 rooms for 9 days while working in the area. the "hot" breakfast items tended to be on the cold side, but everything at breakfast was OK overall. unfortunately, there is no place nearby to go for dinner. only one hot dog stand within walking distance - no other walking destinations of any kind. and the multitude of restaurants we tried driving to were all disappointing.

“Well Worth the Price”

Had to go to Michigan for a funeral in Clarkston/Holly area. The Wingate is conveniently located off of I75 near the Silverdome. Much better priced than the couple hotels in Clarkston and worth the extra half-hour drive. The hotel is very clean, beds are comfortable and staff very friendly. Ashley at the front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant and a credit to the hotel. The complimentary breakfast bar included warm sausage patties, eggs, waffles and the usual other things, and was kept well-stocked by a very pleasant young lady. Overall, no complaints at all as I'm very happy that I selected this hotel.
