“best western the best”

for the price this would be hard to beat. Room was excellent and the hotel facillities very good. Well located for both Tiverton and the link road with plenty of parking and good facillities. Only complaint was the fact that the restaurant was not open in the afternoon.

“Good base for touring.”

Although "set in 2 acres" was slightly misleading (most is Car Park) the Hotel was ideal as a base for visiting the Area on the edge of town.Its main business being courses and conferences we had good fun people watching in the restaurant and bar in the evening. The room was ideal for returning to in the evening clean and modern with a picture window overlooking the stream with Ducks, Robins, and Blackbirds. Staff with one exeption were excellent and breakfast and evening meals in the bar were good value. Up to Best Western standard. We are of to another this weekend.

“Good location for a short visit”

I stayed at the Best Western Tiv with eton for two nights in early September to attend my sons wedding. The room was very adequate with a god sized bed, a large desk and good internet access. My rate included breakfast and the buffet was good. One was able to have eggs to order and the staff were very friendly. Whilst the building was dated, it was typical of facilities in this chain. All in all a very pleasant stay

“OK”

Executive room of a good size. Bathroom rather small but powershower excellent. Few people in hotel, so restaurant closed in evening. Bar meal fine. Breakfast poor - given the lack of guests it should have been possible to boil an egg properly and provide plain yoghurt. Receptionist very helpful.

“Average”

We chose Best Western as an anonymous hotel and that is what we got. It's not cheap though and it's a bit tired around the edges. There's not much else to choose from in the area though so it's the best of its type. The food was lovely however and that completely redeemed it for me. The breakfasts were the best quality I've had in a hotel in a long time. And the service was good too. My only complaint was how soft the beds were! They are really really soft!
