Pleasant character hotelPosted Aug 2, 2013
Pros: The people and the building
Cons: Not having a shower in the room
Location: Bampton is a lovely village with a super pub called the Swan
The hotel is an old building so the floors and walls are not level so not all the doors closed properly. This wasn't an issue and added to the character of the place. Everything was tidy and clean. The people who ran it were lovely. They were helpful and very pleasant. We only had breakfast there but there was a good choice and it was nicely cooked. The bed was harder than our bed but you can't please everyone.

Flott sted, personlig og litt trangt.Posted Jul 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Det er et gammelt hotell, med mye historikk. Velstelt og hyggelig atmosfære.

Seriously 5 out of 5Posted Jun 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
This quaint little hotel is fantastic; it's a beautiful hotel with a cosy little dining room, cute little bar and really nice beer garden. The owners were really friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the room was great. Bathroom had a shower with a power shower and nice hot water. I really couldn't name one bad thing about this hotel. I'd definitely recommend it and will be back next year for next years half ironman at Wimbleball lake - on that note the owners left out breakfast for us so that it was available for us at 3am when we needed it, thank you again.
