Nice, cosy & very well maintained close to beachPosted May 26, 2015
My girlfriend and I stayed for the long wknd. The B&B is very nice, very well maintained. Peter, the owner, is great, very wellcoming & helpful. The beach is a 5 min walk away and the whole North Devon region very beautiful. I can definitely recommend staying with Peter.

Homely B&B convenient to, but not in Bideford.Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Breakfast. Handy for RHS Garden Rosemoor, which is why we went
Cons: It is what it is. Improvements could be made, but are not really needed.
Location: Not much going for Westward Ho!, except for the fish and chip shop. Nice cliff walk, but the massive penny arcade - yuk. Appledore nice.
Just 3 or 4 rooms, Homely and comfortable. Peter makes and effort to be friendly and seems to be happy to produce a very good breakfast to your own requirements, within reason. Safe parking and next to a decent pub/pub grub establishment.

Superb little B&BPosted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Rooms were spacious and very clean, beds comfy, breakfast yummy.
Cons: one very minor point - don't put salt / pepper on the breakfast - i like to put my own on. That said the food was still delicious.
Location: A must to visit the Isle of Lundy, either for a day trip or a couple of days.
We only stayed for the one night in a twin room, however the owners were superb in allowing us a much later arrival. The B&B is very easy to find, with off-street parking. The rooms themselves have everything we could have needed - and more, the selection of fruit / herbal Tea's were a lovely touch. Breakfast was wonderfully fresh - so fresh that the owner went to the chicken hut in the garden in the morning to collect our eggs. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

Excellent for a night's stay. Not far from the sea and assorted eating establishments.

Brockenhurst B&B Westward Ho.Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Cosy ,clean , friendly staff.
Cons: The facilities suited my wife and myself exactly , but others in this day and age may require separate lounge and computer to access internet.
Location: Wonderful North Devon coast to Explore. If you like rambling both Exmoor and Dartmoor are close. The national Trust have lots of houses and castles to
I cannot fault the B&B in any way , and we felt welcome from the start, the room we had was clean & cosy and the facilities tea coffee always available. Great experience would certainly go again. Westward Ho itself has a good size beach with facilities for children Parking available off road and gated.. I did not use bus services but would seem to be frequent and close.

The epitome of a b&bPosted Aug 10, 2014
It is not fancy or quirky - it is just a small b&b, close to the beach, very clean and with a good British breakfast. We had a nice room with a good bed and shower. Most of all we appreciated the host - a genuine nice man, who makes your stay a pleasant and cosy experience. We will definitely stop by on our next trip to Devon or Cornwall.

Good B&BPosted Jul 18, 2014
Location: 5 mins walk to seafront. It is on the bus route from Bideford.
nice room with distant view of sea. Good breakfast. They had a new dog which was very noisy and might bother some people
