Quiet and friendly B&B in beautiful countryside.

Posted Aug 25, 2014
We stayed in August 2014 for our 30th wedding anniversary. The owners were very friendly and we were greeted with a home made cream tea - a very thoughtful touch. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable and there is a cosy sitting room which has lovely views over the countryside. Breakfast was delicious. Huish Moor is set apart from the town (although very easy and quick to get to surrounding towns) and is a quiet and cosy retreat. It makes a great base from which to explore the North Devon countryside. I can highly recommend if you want a perfect few days away.

Pros: The breakfasts were amazing
Location: Remote and quiet but only a short drive to town.
This is a lovely bed and breakfast in a beautiful setting, remote but close to town. The couple who run it are friendly and very helpful and accommodating. (We arrived very late after a nightmare journey) The room was clean and very comfortable and we had tea brought up each morning. Our breakfasts were superb, cereals, fruit and yoghurt, toast and a full English every morning. It was a shame to leave after three nights but we will definitely go back there when we go down to Devon. Having spent time feeling anonymous in big hotels it was nice to stay in a place with such a personal touch.
