Good hotel for The Barbican and the City CentrePosted Oct 8, 2014
Pros: The staff were friendly, the room was small but more than adequate, and near to the things we wanted to do.
Location: The Barbican is excellent for eating and ambience, The Hoe is always worth a visit, and the shopping will suit all tastes
This hotel provided everything we needed for our two day stay in Plymouth, near the shopping centres, The Barbican for eating and exploring, and The Hoe for it's views and it's history. Ideal for us.

Perfect Plymouth HotelPosted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Room cleanliness and facilities (incl free Wi-Fi) & a fantastic breakfast – which was an extra £10 per person (or £8 if booked the prev night)
Cons: Complimentary/free car parking
Location: Drake Circus shopping, short walk to the famous Hoe, and lots of evening entertainment/restaurants close by
Quality hotel and ideally pleased for shopping, and a short walk to the Hoe and Entertainment complex (Cinema, bowling and restaurants).

Convenient hotel for all amenities in PlymouthPosted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Location, comfort and helpfulness of staff.
Cons: Food and hot drink in the bar was not warm enough on a couple of occasions.
Location: Five minute walk to the centre of Plymouth for shopping. Ten minute walk to waterfront for bars and activities.
I stayed for a few nights on the way down to visit friends. The hotel staff were very friendly and helped me out towards the end of my stay when I had to leave some luggage behind for a few days. The hotel bar and restaurant meant I could eat the night I arrived before going out into Plymouth. The room was very comfortable, quiet and clean. The view from the front of the hotel isn't the best but it is better at the back as it is a few minutes walk to the waterfront and the Hoe.

Handy for BarbicanPosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: The location close to the Barbican area with its bars and restaurants and the helpfulness of the staff.
Cons: Had paid for the car park next door before realising that it was cheaper to pay in the hotel itself. Some problems getting into the hotel at the back
Location: The streets nearby were quiet at night but it was not a far walk to bars and restaurants.
We were unhappy with our already chosen hotel in Paignton so were keen to find one in Plymouth as we were sightseeing in the area and we could settle in faster than heading back to a different hotel in Paignton. Found this at an ok rate given that it was a bank holiday weekend so took the double room. We asked for a quiet room and the man at reception put us on the top floor and there was no noise from nearby rooms or along the corridor. While closing the curtains one set fell, we called down to reception to report this and then again 20 minutes later. The person who had allocated us the room arrived and apologised that the initial call had not been passed on, after fixing the problem he offered us complimentary breakfast vouchers as breakfast was not included in the room rate.

Very good hotel, easy reach of the town center.Posted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: The location.
Cons: Hotel needs a drop off and pickup area. Free car park facilities should be provided, likewise a refrigerator in the rooms would not go amiss.
Stayed one night, very comfortable, quiet and clean hotel. Very good breakfast, will certainly go again.
