“Top Stay”
This elegantly furnished guest house was very clean and comfortable. It was well located near to the city centre but in a quiet road. We were given a parking permit that was free. We stayed in the Queen Anne Suite with the 4-poster bed which was very comfotable. I was impressed with the little extra touches such as the complimentary bottle of water and the shower cap, soaps and gels. The breakfast was nicely presented and ample. I would definitely recommend Melbury Guest House and hope that we will make a return visit. It would be nice to do this in the summer as they have a conservatory, patio and, I understand, a hot tub or though we did not venture out during our trip as it was too cold!
“Disappointing”
Group of us stayed at this hotel. No hot water in one of the rooms, no toilet in one of the rooms which meant that some of the group had to relocate to another hotel.
