Probably the best guest house we have stayed in. Personal welcome by name when we arrived. Made to feel at home straight away. Very friendly. Unfortunately only stayed the one night. Breakfast on Sunday morning was a treat. Would consider this to be top of the range for b & b accommodation.

I booked this fairly last minute and chose the location more because it was within striking distance of Greenway - the National Trust property once owned by Agatha Christie. The owners were a lovely friendly couple who welcomed me on my first visit to Brixham. It is, of course, part of the 'English Riviera but I was visiting in October and I was only staying for one night so didn';t spend much time in the town. However, it was an added bonus that the harbour is surrounded by lovely restaurants serving the locally caught fish. The hotel is on a local bus route if you don't feel like walking after a heavy meal.
