Stay here and walk the South-West Coast Path

Posted Jul 3, 2013
Pros: Comfortable room, breakfast
Cons: There is wi-fi available but we had difficulty logging on. As it is a small establishment there was not anyone to help when we had a problem.
We wanted somewhere convenient for walking a stretch of the South-West Coast Path, and for visiting a friend in Totnes, and the Manor Inn was within a few miles of each. It is a popular local pub with a limited number of rooms. We had an evening meal there, battered cod and also lamb shank, both very good. The breakfast was 'Full English' and was excellent. It was easy to find, far enough off the main road to be quiet, except evenings before closing time when there were plenty of customers inside and outside talking, but no rowdiness, and it didn't disturb us.

Relaxed family Inn/hotel

Posted May 13, 2013
Pros: Breakfast. Bar
Cons: Bed. Plumbing in room.
Location: Quiet location but convenient for Brixham or Kingswear (for Dartmouth via ferry).
Excellent breakfast, served by extremely friendly and efficient lady. Nice bar and restaurant with good menu. Room required a little updating and maintenance. New ownership/management expected soon.

Comfortable accommodation with great breakfasts!

Posted Sep 17, 2012
Pros: Friendly atmosphere. Great breakfast.
Cons: Condition of the interior and exterior of the Inn (excluding the bedrooms) is a little tired.
Location: Quiet village setting but with easy access to all Torbay's main attractions.
Stayed for two nights in September 2012. Room was quite small for a double but clean and comfortable. The Inn itself is looking a little careworn both in and out, particularly on the approach to the entrance to the accommodation. Breakfast and the member of staff responsible for it could not be faulted.

Location: Walking the South West Coastal path (Brixam to Dartmouth is beautiful and there is a good bus service to you only need to walk one way) A trip on the Fairmile (Greenway Ferry) across to Torquay or to Dartmouth Brixham, Torquay, Dartmouth all lovely to explore.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Manor Inn whilst exploring Brixham and Torquay in October. Our room was lovely with bath and shower. We ate both nights in the inn and found the food to be good but maybe a little pricey. Breakfast was fabulous. The staff at the inn were all really friendly. Overall we felt we had really good value for money and thoroughly recommend it.
