“Not too shabby”

Stayed during Mardi Gras. Price was much better than hotels in Louisiana and it's not too far away either. Nothing nearby really but it was perfect for what we needed it for.

“Could be better”

Staff was very nice. Room was average and clean. The maintenance around the hotel could have been better. Pool could have been cleaned. The overall feel of the hotel was neglected. It could be so much more.

“Not Impressed”

Usually not one to complain, but this was terrible! Check in was not until 4 p.m. and the room wasn't cleaned. Waited about 45 minutes. The room # wasn't on door, so we wandered around with luggage before realizing the door w/o the # was ours. Dead cockroach on floor. All ice machines broken. Staff was pleasant enough, hotel lacked general upkeep. Small town coziness.

“Great for short stay between NO and Biloxi”

All was good except housekeeping didnt knock before entering. Weird.

The hotel was clean; however, there were curtains hanging in the windows that were missing hooks, etc. Like I said, it was fine to spend the night passing through - very courteous staff, but not a great place to spend a vacation!

This is the first time we choose Expedia to get a hote, because we have had good experience, but that was incredible such a dirty and noicy hotel. As we saw that was a very big hotel and good-one 25 years ago, but since then, the owners have not any intention to fix it or at least show a little respect for the guests.

“Needs a Make-Over!”

Pros-Front desk friendly and helpful. Fast food next door. Cons-Indoor pool very noisy. Unpleasant interior odor (smokey/stale). Room furnishings seemed old. No garbage can in the room, no cups for water or coffee.

“In need of renovation”

Combined leisure with business and was important that the kids had a pool, which was ok, but hot tub did not work most of the time. Room was moldy smelling, no cable, small, and messy. Can't blame all this on hurricane damage. Disappointed.

“Will not stay here again.”

This hotel has so many opportunities to attract people who are visiting and working with the NASA facility just 12 miles away. That is the reason I chose it - because it was close and I needed to be at Stennis Space Center early the next morning. However, it was not at all the kind of place that a business person would be willing to book a return trip. Other people that were on-site for the same event as I was, stayed in Slidell. They made the correct choice. The people were nice at the hotel, but the room was a total dump. At least it did not cost my company very much money for me to stay there!
