nice place to stay for a night.

Pros: quite.
Location: There is everything you need near by. Gas station, mall and places to eat.
We went to a wedding and stayed here because the reception and dance was in the hotel. If you want to hold a reception or a meeting, I think this is the place to have it. There was a buffet and it was wonderful. There was turkey wrapped in bacon, very nice combination, roast beef, mash potatoes, wild rice w/mushrooms , rolls and salad. The room we stayed in was a pool side, i was personally dreading it. Where ever we would stay pool side at other hotels, there would be noise all night. Not here, at least not this night. It was nice and quite. The bed was big comfortable and lots of pillows. We had a king size bed. The pool was a small size, but thats ok with us, we didn't swim that night. There was a hot tub too. The thing that surprised me was, no chlorine smell in the pool area. There is a restaurant and bar.

Nice Hotel

The hotel was ok. For it being a newer building it sure has taken a beating. The staff could use a little bit of help. The come off as rude for the most part. We had limited hotel options and this hotel is definitely not the worst in the area. I would be nicer if the had free breakfast though.

Pros: restaurant and lounge were decent, food quality OK.
Hotel is showing it's age, many newer ones in the area. Non-smoking room smelled of smoking. Wireless internet performed poorly on all three of my devices, I constantly complained about it. Had to get keys replaced every other day.

Nice building, lousy service.

Pros: the facilities are nice.
We experienced terrible service at this hotel. The front desk was slow and did not respond at all via phone. The restaurant was not busy but the service was slow and oatmeal was under-cooked. how can you screw up oatmeal? they did.

Some problems

During this visit, everything was great. However, during my last stay a few weeks ago, I encountered a problem with the pool being closed and then the next night they told me the element had gone out of the Hot tub so for the next three days I was there-that couldn't be used. Not happy about that. I would think they would have spare parts on the shelf or be able to get them in one day.

Gwen, We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and dissatisfaction you encountered, regarding our hot tub. I can assure you that a new spa heater was ordered immediately, Unfortunately this was not something that could be obtained and installed same or next day, and did require a backorder from the supplier. We expect this to be shipped to our property and installed as soon as absolutely possible. We truly hope to have the opportunity to serve you again soon!

Very nice hotel and in a location that was easy to get to. Very expensive; but due to being in an area of high lodging demand.

Good place to take a break on a long drive

Cons: basic cable & no opportunity to rent a movie in the room? No easy way to plug our devices into TV either to play movie for kids.
On our way from Northern MN to Western MT, stopped for the night & got a decent rate through online booking. Everything in this area is expensive due to Bakken boom (get any discount you can)! Room was clean and comfortable though housekeeping forgot to clear out some (trash) items left behind from previous occupant. Pool was nice for adults but not much shallow end for kids. Ordered pizza from the restaurant delivered to the room & it was pretty good but I had to go to the restaurant to get more napkins, peppers & Parmesan which was kind of a weird experience (long explanation). The guy who checked me in was unfriendly & charged me for the room (I already paid through the booking agency)! The gal who checked me out was more friendly & fixed the error (I think - haven't checked my CC statement yet). It was a nice, restful evening overall.
