Very nice hotel in a quiet riverside location.Posted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: cleanliness and proximity to towns of Dillsboro and Sylva.
Cons: Beds were too soft. Drop the eggs from the breakfast bar.
Location: Pottery shops, fishing the Tuckasegee river, Cherokee and all the surrounding attractions.
Stayed one night in order to get up early for fishing trip the next day. Comfortable and clean but the bed was a little soft. Breakfast was self serve with supermarket quality muffins, bagels, breads, cereals, self-serve pancake machine, juices, coffee. Eggs were yellow microwave disks making sausage/biscuit/gravy a good combo. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay.Posted Oct 14, 2013
My family and I had a wonderful time in the area. The hotel was very nice. The staff was helpful and easy to talk to. They were very knowledgeable of the area. I will be going back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay off the beaten path and still close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Beautiful river runs out back and a full breakfast in the morning. Motorcycle friendly.

on the river, close to Cherokee casinoPosted Jun 25, 2013
Pros: location and comfort
Location: 10 minute drive to Cherokee and close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. There's a lot of things to do and see within an easy drive!
The hotel was wonderful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome! The amenities and the location were great too. We loved the abandoned trains and the picnic tables on the deck over the river. We fished and explored surrounding areas. The stay was wonderful. Next time I travel near that area- I'm definitely staying at this hotel!

Location: Located in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. Hiking, rafting or just sitting in a rocking chair on the porch of the hotel.
A beautiful hotel! The front desk attendant was so kind and helpful....she recommended a great restaurant close by and was ablt to give us directions to Wcu that were so easy. The room was nice, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very nice.

Will definitely return!Posted Mar 10, 2013
Pros: Comfortable bed, plenty of room, variety of breakfast choices.
Location: Very picturesque and convenient to where we were traveling to.
My teenaged daughter and I enjoyed our stay very much. The river vew from the hotel was beautiful, and the room was much larger than I expected. Very reasonably priced. It was very comfortable and clean. A large hot breakfast was included; not just donuts and coffee. I would definitely return here again.

Nice place to stayPosted Oct 29, 2012
Cons: Seemed a little dated.
Location: On the river.
Very nice, clean facility with pleasant, service oriented staff. Nice breakfast and a terrace over looking the river. Lighted parking. Room was quaint, clean and comfortable. Complaints about the little pillows are over blown. Good experience.

Beautiful secluded mountain settingPosted Jun 16, 2012
We had a very pleasant one-night stay in this hotel, which is just off the Smoky Mountain Expressway about an hour left of Asheville NC. We had to wait briefly to check in because the desk clerk was not available, but other than that the service was good. If weather permits, be sure to plan a little time to sit on the beautiful back deck overlooking the river, and ask for availability of river view rooms when booking.
