Spacious and close to Disney World

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: Spacious, close to Disney World, kind staff
Cons: Change of carpet, overall update of rooms, more towels/soap for the condo, more utensils/plateware in the kitchen.
Location: The location is close to Disney, grocery stores, Walmart, and many restaurant choices (we suggest Pollo Tropical - which is like a Chicken Chipotle).
The facility looks very nice from the outside, but we found the interior of the rooms to be dated and barely satisfactory in cleanliness. What added to the lack of cleanliness most was some badly stained carpet throughout our 2 units (yes 2 - more on that in a second). Our condo was very spacious for the 6 of us and we loved all the amenities of a condo. A hotel room may have been better on the cleanliness side but we were willing to give a bit on that because of how much room we had. If you're an ultra clean freak or you expect perfect rooms wherever you stay, this might not be for you. The biggest issue we had was outside of anyone's control - our AC unit broke. When we came back from Disney we tried to adjust the thermostat but woke up the next morning with it 80 degrees in the whole condo. That morning I informed the front desk and they said they'd look into it. When we came back after a long day at Disney our room was 85 degrees. I went down to the front desk and was informed me that they had our keys for our new room. I was taken aback by this information and felt like their communication wasn't great. When I expressed that, the staff was kind and tried as much in their power to fix the issue. We ended up moving but moved to a nearby unit (when originally they asked us to move floors) and they refunded our cleaning fees. I would definitely go back for the price and proximity to Disney, but don't think Palisades it probably for everyone.

This hotel was terrible!!!!!

Posted Mar 18, 2015
This hotel had no tv. The room smells of smoke. The coffee pot had mold in it. The hotel staff at time of check in was rude. The sliding doors to the balcony had no locks!!!! No maid service for clean towel. You have to wash them yourself. Disgusting. Don't waste your money!!!

Pros: It's quiet most of the time.
Cons: Furniture is starting to show wear and tear. Pool is ice cold even when the temperature is in the 80's.
It was nice, but the pool is ice cold. WiFi should be available in the room, not just in the room near the lobby. It is very inconvenient.

Huge, comfortable suites, great accomodations

Posted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: See above !
Cons: Continental breakfast, even if it means an additional fee.
Location: Disney, Universal Studios, etc.only 15 minutes away.
Suites are easily 3 times the size of a traditional room. Pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna are all great, and the hotel is close to all the attractions. We will bring friends next time.

Quick trip to Disney

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: Much better than getting joining rooms at a hotel.
Cons: There is no wifi in the rooms, and the cable channel selection is limited.
Location: 15 minutes to Disney, many restaurants and supermarkets within minutes.
This is a condo, with a hotel lobby. The staff was nice, the rooms were clean and the location is convenient. What more would you need?

I WOULD STAY AGAIN.

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: CLOSE TO PARKS WITH LESS TRAFFIC
Cons: UPDATE ROOMS (CARPET, TV'S, FURNITURE, BEDS)
Location: VERY CLOSE TO DISNEY PARKS
IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH THE STAY, VERY CLOSE TO PARKS WITH EASY ACCESS ROADS. PARKING WAS NOT SO GOOD FOR LARGER VEHICLES. AND ROOMS WERE GOOD BUT COULD USE SOME UPDATING AND CARPETS AND FURNITURE (TV'S / COUCHES) COULD BE UPGRADED. OVER ALL WAS NICE!
