“All around average.”

It did the job. There's pretty much nothing in the town, but it's easy to get into Geneva from the hotel. Our first adventure was opening a creamer in the room and finding it solid. :-( Otherwise the room was acceptable. No wireless in the room, though. Breakfast was far too expensive. 12 euros for nearly nothing. Bread, undercooked bacon, something purporting to be scrambled eggs, and OJ. Not even fruit.

“Excellent price n location”

The only thing i did not like about the hotel appt is pets allowed and no restricted apt for them and that is not good for alergic person to stay at a room previously occuppied by a dog or cat!

“Not for families”

I think this is fine for the single traveler. The basic room has a queen bed with separate bath. For families, though, not so good. To get two beds is an upcharge of almost doub. le the original rate. So we made a nest on the floor out of duvets for one of the kids to sleep in, but couldn't get additional covers for the bed until morning. The mattresses are very basic and wouldn't come close to passing the bowling ball test, so unless both people on the bed are sound sleepers, someone is going to get woken up whenever the other moves. I ended up sleeping in the bathtub because I had given our duvet to the kids for their nest and my husband was moving in his sleep. Breakfast is very basic and exceptionally expensive. No hair dryer. Very few restaurants in the local area.

Family-friendly activities

We met friends at the ParcAventure ropes course in Signal de Bougy a little further east along the lake near Aubonne. This is the best ropes course we've been on in Europe (and courses like this really don't exist in the U.S.). Highly recommended for anyone over 10 (the 4-8 group can go on a mini-course).

It is a very nice hotel and very close to major highway,would stay there again,the only thing is that they do not clean the room everyday if you have a suite,But the internet and parking is free and very good i stayed there for nine days and would recomend this hotel.you will like it

i went to swiss to ski but i went late,But if you are there for afew days,go to a village called verbier and gstaad besides just geneva,very good day trip about two hours drive away in the mountain.

“Changed owner but still convenient”

There have been some changes, but I still find Home Business convenient for people passing by in the way to somewhere else. Be ready to make your bed and not have amenities replaced everyday.

Area recommendations

La Reserve for lunch or dinner; first class dinning. Le Relais de l'Entrecote, for meat lovers in Geneva: both food and service are good!!! Les Armures for a good fondue.

“A comfortable hotel next to a beatiful very small river.”

I only stayed at this hotel overnight on my way to UK by car. I don't have a negative feeling from my stay at this hotel but I will never forget the view from my room the next morning when I woke up and open the shades. A beautiful small river surrounded by trees. I took a few photos which I now use as a wallpaper in my computer.

Area recommendations

I can't suggest any other area since I only stayed at the hotel overnight. However when I left next morning for Dijon, France I passed through the Swiss St. Cirque village which was very pictorial with the car.

“Convenient and comfortable”

Very convenient to Geneva Airport (about 15 minute drive) and located in a pretty town. The hotel has a nicely equipped kitchenette and sitting room in the more expensive suites - well worth the upgrade. Need to bring your own tea, coffee, sugar, etc. We will definitely stay here again. Hint: try to get a suite on the riverside of the hotel.

“Very practical with high standards in general”

Good for driving guests. The bed is confortable, the neighborhood quiet; great to have a good rest. Breakfast is good enough; sometimes more complete than others. The bread is delicious!!!

What to pack

If you don't have time to buy it before, bring your coffee/tea, since the kitchenette is well equiped, and includes a coffee maker but has no complementary coffee.

“What a find!”

Good signs directing me to location. Reservation was in order. Facility was extremely clean, moderately priced, tasteful decor, extremely helpful staff, delightful room, very easy parking. Bonus was a towel warmer, separate tub and shower, cooking facilities, microwave, bar frig. Ground floor with French doors to outside with black-out shutters for extra security.

“Very impressed”

The hotel is much better than I expected for the price. The location is fantastic, just 15 minutes from the Geneve airport at the French side. This in a small town where all are kind and considerate. Nearby has supermarkets and a shopping center.
