Old and had odor
Posted Jan 23, 2012
Cons: smell
Room was clean just had an odor to it. Old hotel which they have done some updates just not enough. The pictures of the outside of the hotel make it look like a nicer hotel than it is.

The hotel was great, it was clean, nice staff, very accommadating and awesome free breakfast for such a low price. The location was perfect we were on our way back from our Colorado vacation.

Cons: The pool
Wished the pool would have been clean. I was disappointed I couldn't swim as it was gross.

Late June weekend stay
Posted Jan 25, 2012
Pros: Checked in at 1pm with no problems
Cons: No local area guide
Teenagers making noise in the parking lot at midnight on Saturday night. Other than that everything else was ok.

Very good value for the money.

Booked this hotel because it was the cheapest national brand I could find in Garden City. Hotel is in good shape. Everything worked and the beds were comfortable. At my room rate, there was no fridge or microwave. They do have rooms with them at a higher rate. They do allow pets with an additional $10/night charge. Free breakfast was pretty standard - waffles, cereal, biscuits and gravy, some fruit, and juices. Location was the east side of town but plenty of restaurants within a mile. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Convenience in Garden City

The Red Baron is convenient to the southside of town on Highway 83. There are several restaurants fairly close. It's a fair price for a good room.

A good room for the price.Although the staff seemed a little young and not to professional.
