“IT'S OK.”

THE LADY THAT CHECK US IN WAS VERY FRIENDLY. WE WERE VERY TIRED. WE JUST LEFT THAT GREAT PLACE HOUSE ON THE ROCK. WHEN WE GOT TO THE HOTEL WE WERE TOLD OUR ROOM WAS ON THE SECOND FLOOR WITH NO ELEVATOR. WE ASKED IF WE COULD GET A ROOM ON THE FIRST FLOOR BECAUSE WE WERE JUST TO TIRED TO CLIMB STAIRS. SHE SAID, SHE COULD'NT GET ONLINE TO CHECK FOR A ROOM ON THE FIRST FLOOR. SHE SAID, IF YOU ARE HUNGRY GO EAT AND I WILL HAVE YOU A ROOM ON THE FIRST FLOOR WHEN YOU RETURN. WHEN WE RETURNED OUR ROOM ON THE FIRST FLOOR WAS READY. THE PROBLEMS WERE THERE WAS A OLD STAIN ON THE SHEETS. NOW THAT SHEET SHOULD HAVE BEEN THOWN AWAY IF THEY COULDN'T CLEAN IT. ALSO THE BED SINKED IN THE MIDDLE. WE FELT THE ROOM COULD USE A NEW MATTRESS.

“Nice get away”

My only complaint about the room was the bathtub. The motel needs to put a bathmat or something in their tubs. They are very slick and I was always afraid of slipping when I took a shower. We had friends with us who had a separate room and they had the same concern. I was real pleased with the having a refrig, microwave, alarm clock, iron and hair dryer in the room.

Warning to all -- there is no elevator and my husband has a bad knee -- but they put us on the second floor anyway. The included continental breakfast is a joke and so if their "fitness area"

The Best Western Quiet House and Suites was a very nice place to stay. Our room was clean and spacious. We liked the indoor/outdoor swimming pool. It was also very quiet there which we enjoyed. We will go back there again.

“Lodging near House on the Rock”

We picked this hotel based on its proximity to House on the Rock, there didn't seem to be too much else in the vicinity that was affordable. The room was quiet and clean and we enjoyed the indoor/outdoor swimming pool. We were also happy that they provided a Continental breakfast. The hotel is located across the street from a Walgreen's and a Walmart. Fortunately the hotel is set back far enough from them that there wasn't a traffic problem. Our big disappointment was the lack of restaurants in the area. After driving to Spring Green and then back, and still not finding anything, we ended up at a Pizza Hut. The next night though we discovered the town of Mineral Point (about 15 minutes away) and ate at their wonderful brewery. If I had known about Mineral Point earlier, I probably would have tried to find accommodations there, since it looked like a wonderful town to explore with lots of shops and galleries. All in all, though, are stay at the Best Western was a good experience.

“An OK place to stay”

This hotel is appointed nicely. The pool has an indoor/outdoor feature both summer and winter. The room was a good size with plenty of extra seating. It could have been a little cleaner however. Think the housekeeping staff could use a bit of training. Staff was friendly, although somewhat inept. The complementary breakfast was OK but not outstanding. My personal standards are a comfortable bed, a good shower head and cleanliness. The first two were met nicely.
