“Nice location”

The staff seemed more distracted during this visit - Last spring when we stayed there was a woman who was friendly and informative. this time the desk attendants were nice, but were clearly doing other things like watching their kids and whatnot, which made them seem more distracted than our original visit. The room and the hot tub were nice - wish they didn't shut the hot tub down at 10:30. The wireless internet didn't work most of the time we were there, which was annoying. My pillow was cheap and had chopped up foam inside, making it less comfortable than I'd like. Aside from these small gripes, however, I was happy with the stay. It's a lovely setting for a reasonable rate. They are allegedly putting in a pool by next spring, according to the woman we talked to who was working the desk last May, but I didn't see any construction.

“A large clean room with nice view”

We stayed in room 406 (in the newer, back building) and I would strongly recommend any of the even-numbered 400 rooms (404, 406, 408, etc) because they face the "creek" which is really a lovely green, treed park with walking path. Our room (and room 408 also) was a Q "mini suite" which was HUGE! Really just a regular room, nice Q bed, but HUGE floor space, had a sofa bed, small refrig, microwave, and standard bathroom. But being in the "back" (newer) building was very nice, clean, pleasant. Wouldn't recommend the "odd" numbered rooms as they faced the parking lot, but the even-numbered rooms had a very nice view. The phone didn't work in 406 but reported it to the clerk and assume it got fixed. Just blocks from the center of Platteville, and was also very quiet. Would recommend especially with details above.

“Fairly Priced”

Centrally located, very nice room, although the exterior looks pretty dated. Hazard...across the street from a Dairy Queen...too many late evening snacks available! Enjoyed the morning coffee and waffles every day. Would definitely stay there again!
