Nice hotel close to the city centrePosted Jul 14, 2014
The construction of Msheireb Downtown Doha opposite the hotel can be quite noisy, as the construction activities are 24 hours operation.

Great Hotel but Surrounded by ConstructionPosted Mar 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
My stay at the hotel was wonderful because I did not have to walk from the hotel. Business brought me there and everyday I was picked up and then let off in the evening. Thus I did not have to find local places for entertainment. The one time I did venture out, the area is so dominated by construction it is very difficult to walk anywhere. So I would not choose this hotel as a base for exploring Doha, even though it is centrally located.

Great hotelPosted Nov 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great hotel – fourth trip back there and planning a fifth at the moment. Comfortable beds, nice rooms and great service. The local area is undergoing a lot of construction at the moment so there is some inevitable noise.

Amari DohaPosted Nov 16, 2013
This is a lovely hotel with a very friendly and courteous staff. The restaurant is excellent. The outdoor pool on the roof deck overlooks the city and is very inviting. The only drawback is that the hotel is in the midst of construction around it which is very common in Doha. Other than that, it is conveniently located to most attractions. The construction activity did not pose a problem for us. I highly recommend this hotel which is very affordable.
