Very Freindly Staff - Wil Stay AgainPosted Feb 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Excellent - only down side was that we did not get transfer to the Airport as it was too early in the morning. However, that was the only thing.

Value for Money...in Doha that is.Posted Dec 1, 2012
Pros: I had an oversized shower and of course the price is what attracted me.
Cons: Hmmm, not sure, but this is a no frills hotel.
Location: Poor location, lots of traffic but since I had people picking me up and dropping me off this was not a big issue.
Almost every hotel in Doha is expensive, way over priced. The location of the Chairmen Hotel is not the best but the room was clean and for the money this was a good deal. The gym had a few pieces of cardio equipment if I remember correctly which was fine. I will stay there again. If you only need a bed, an internet connection and a basic gym, this is the best hotel for the money. No frills here.

Good enough for one nightPosted Jul 3, 2012
Pros: location close to the airport. free internet. free shuttle
Cons: The neighborhood is noisy . staff are not available all the time. I had to wait an extra hour for the airport shuttle to come.
Location: Location is close to airport but not the closest.
An average hotel. The staff were welcoming at the beginning. The service is poor. The airport shuttle is not available all the time even if you called ahead of time to schedule. The concierge is also not available all the time. We had to wait an hour for the shuttle, another 30 mins for the concierge to come take our luggages. The buffet was good but overpriced for the poor service. The location is good if you wanna be close to the airport. The hotel is good for one night only. The neighborhood is very noisy (industrial city).
Friendly staff, silverfish in bedPosted Dec 15, 2011
Good Points: 1. Staff were friendly, when I checked in thetried to charge me for the room, when normally it is already paid for by Expedia. Eventually the receptionist let me use his personal laptop to check my email and it turned out that for this hotel expedia just makes the booking. Bad Points: 1. Taxi drivers don't seem to know it or be prepared to use the address to get there which is a pain. 2. Found a silverfish (insect) in my bed.
