Close to the train station... that's about it.Posted Jun 18, 2014
Pros: Location was OK, but we like to walk a lot. 20 min to train station, half hour to Rynek, 45 minutes to Cathedral Island
Cons: the rooms need updating, everything is very old and used.
Quite old and outdated hotel, looks very much like a run down chain hotel (best western, days inn...) Bed was very hard, pillows were ok, it was quite a walk to the Rynek and even further to Cathedral Island. We got much much nicer accommodations other places for less, if I went again I'd definitely look around for something else.

Worn out hotelPosted Jun 14, 2014
Pros: Restaurant and restaurant staff were excellent. Food was superb. Completely clean.
Cons: Hotel very dated - complete overhaul required.
Location: Location was good - a modest walk into the city centre. City centre quite vibrant but did not go out in the evening there.
Firstly the hotel was spotless - completely clean. Secondly the restaurant attached to the hotel was superb, the service was excellent and the food was far far superior than what was expected. Simple plain food but my goodness so tasty, well presented and pleasantly served. The hotel is old, worn out and needs a complete overhaul. The air-conditioning was not working properly. The wifi was dreadful. The fridge did not work. White bathroom fittings were yellowed, the 1970s era hairdryer was a nice touch and the shower would not stay up. That being said even though everything was very dated, it was all spotless. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to everyone but unfortunately the hotel really needs an upgrade to be able to compete in this competitive market.

This hotel is conveniently located adjacent to a tram stop and approximately 10 mins walk from the main train & bus station- Wroclaw Glowny. It was ideal for my overnight stay. The staff were courteous and helpful. Bottled water in the room on arrival is a nice touch and the tea/coffee making facilities were much appreciated. This was my second stay at this hotel and I would return again. Well done to all the staff involved!

The hotel is nice for a short stay.Posted Jan 5, 2014
Pros: I liked its location, convenience of public transportation nearby, nice views from the window.
Cons: I wish there was an inside pool to swim.
Location: You can walk a short distance to see the center of the city.

A Nice, Basic Hotel Just South of the City CentrePosted Dec 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Orbis Hotel in Wroclaw is conveniently situated a short walk from the city centre. The check-in was super efficient & friendly. Parking was available across the street for 40 PLN (about US$13) per day. I just left my car there for the entire 3 days I was in Wroclaw and walked back & forth into the heart of the city. The restaurant was empty most of the time I was there but the food was very delicious. I had a very enjoyable stay.

Nice hotel, perfect location with pleasant staffPosted Dec 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is situated right next to a tram stop which makes traveling around cheap and easy. We were more then happy with this hotel and could not fault it.Every interaction we had with any member of staff was pleasant and they were really helpful and approachable. I wasn't expecting much as it was cheap to stay here but it was beyond my expectations. Pool is small but nice.My only criticism is that there was no English tv stations but wifi was very good throughout our stay which compensated for that.

Pros: The location. It is 10 minutes walk from the centre of Wroclaw.
Cons: The beds!
Location: There is a lot to see in the town center and frequent trams. The Christmas market is worth seeing.
The hotel room was ok but the bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was very thin and sagged in the middle and the mattress protector kept slipping and being plastic on one side it made you perspire. The hotel staff on the whole were friendly and helpful.

Very good but it was situated in a dark place and personally as a mature couple, would be afraid to stay out late. Otherwise, very good stay and would return

close to nice old townPosted Aug 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
My room was comfortable with a view. The hotel is closed to old town, main train station and shopping center even if you're walking. Breakfast buffet is good and the restaurant has a good menu
