“Great hotel, great location”

We wanted to be near the old town and within reasonable walking distance from the railway station and this hotel met both criteria. The bonus was it was also next door to a big shopping mall! A big room, comfortable bed, breakfast wasn't included but with the mall next door this wasn't a problem. Electric jug, coffee and tea supplied which was good as the coffee downstairs in the lobby was very expensive. Unfortunately the wifi would not work in our room but worked fine in the lobby. The hotel has 2 computers, one with a printer, both free of charge. Reception was very helpful, looked up our train time for us, printed out the list of stations to our next destination. The old town was around 5 minutes walk away and well worth our visit.

Area recommendations

We only visited the old town so this is the only area we know, but we loved it. Plenty of cafes and restaurants.

Getting there

The railway station, under normal conditions, would be about a 20 minute walk, nearly in a straight line. However, at the moment the station is under going major renovations so we allowed an hour, 10 minutes for the extra walking, the rest so we could see what platform we needed as there is no direct access to the station itself.

“Great location... amazing staff!”

The staff makes you "authenticaly" to feel at home... the location is great, walking distance to restaurants, bars, galeries, museums, touristic and non touristic spots and of course the commercial center next to it where you can find anything.
