Excellent, but ask for a truly non-smoking room
Posted Jan 7, 2013
Pros: the bed was amazingly comfortable
Cons: no views from windows to speak of
Location: best location for the old town
it is a very good hotel. comfortable bed with soft underlay and loads of pillows. Can not beat it for location, right next to the main square. Friendly and truly multilingual staff. One niggle, even on the "non-smoking floor" my room did have a whiff of cigarrettes and it HAD an ashtray with matches provided.

I stayed at the Sofitel Wroclaw Old Town for four nights with my Brother and Sister and Partners. We had an amazing time. The breakfast started the day of on a very possitive note and the location was perfect. The staff was very helpful and we all loved our stay at this hotel.

Worth a visit

Location: very convenient for the old town
Hotel very nice (as you would expect at this level). The room was great value for a City Centre hotel and a stones throw from the main square (which is beautiful) My breakfast wasn't included so purchased this seperately, it was expensive at £17.50 though, maybe cheaper to go out and find it elsewhere. There was about 15 members of staff in the restaurant in the morning, more than there were customers! perhaps reducing the headcount and reducing the cost of the breakfast might make business sense?? The room was very comfortable and the bed extremely so. The only thing I missed was a dressing gown and slippers...I thought this would be standard at this level of hotel as it is with most I managed to use the gym but not the spa, the gym was relatively small with just 3 pieces of cardio equipment and a multi gym machine, it was fine but any more than 3 or 4 people in there and it would be problematic to do anything. All in all, a god stay and I'll be back next time I'm in Wroclaw

Great hotel, expensive parking!
Posted Jan 4, 2013
Pros: Spotlessly clean, very welcoming
Cons: Expnsive car park, over fussy evening meals
Location: Excellent central location
I have no problem with the hotel but there are two areas that I would consider to be below par: 1, The evening meals are expensive, and fussy (i didnt eat there this time but have done before), there should be a simple menu too with more down to earth pricing. 2, If you are using a car, the attacyhed car park is VERY expensive, there should be a better deal than Pln 140 per night for parking.

Very Nice Wroclaw old town
Posted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: location near square. comfortable bed. sauna, steam rooms were great.
Location: very short walk to the main square where there is an excellent brewery rest. which had amazingly good beer. also lots of nice restaurants.
Wonderful hotel. Only complaint is about the 'extra' pillows that line the back of the bed. i sometimes use these to prop up a leg or support my back. one of these smelled baaaadddd. i wonder if they change them every time. Oh, jacuzzi was not hot.
