We didn't get what we paid for.Posted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: Bainbridge is a small town in south Georgia, and they have very limited hotel space. This hotel is brand new, clean, and has a great free breakfast!
Cons: There were no blankets on the bed--just a twin size blanket at the end of the bed for "show."
We booked our room through Expedia, and we reserved a "Suite, 2 Bedrooms, Non Smoking" for $170 a night. For the town of Bainbridge, this price was a little high, but since we were getting 2 bedrooms, I was OK with the price. I'd pay more for a regular 1 room hotel in Atlanta! Immediately after booking on Expedia, my husband called the Holiday Inn Express to verify that there would be 2 beds in this room, and they said, "Yes." We needed 2 beds because our children were traveling with us. Upon arrival at the hotel, we checked in only to find that not only did we not have a 2 bedroom room, but there were not 2 beds in the suite we reserved. The man behind the counter told us that Expedia had changed the reservation that morning without telling them. There was a 1 bedroom king that had an adjacent room with a sofa bed. The mattress on the sofa bed was extremely cheap--you could feel the springs as soon as you laid down. Thank goodness we were only there one night as that bed was extremely uncomfortable for my children. When we checked out the following morning, a different man behind the counter informed us that this Holiday Inn Express did not have any 2 bedrooms at the hotel-they didn't exist. He said Expedia made an error in listing the rooms. I showed him the confirmation email from Expedia listing the 2 bedrooms. He apologized but said there was nothing he could do.

Lack of hot water in the showerPosted Jun 11, 2013
Cons: Hot water!
Overall, I was pleased. Comfortable, clea room. Would've appreciated a hot shower, though.
