Beautiful hotel, lovely large bedroom,Posted Sep 7, 2013
Pros: Had lots of nice features in the hall lobbies, very peaceful location..
Location: Close to Dunegal, 10min walk max. Lots of nice pubs in centre, and quaint shops
On a two day break , great hotel, fantastic bar menu for food. Bedroom was massive. Liked trying to recognise all the photos of places which were hung in the room and in the hall lobby- would have been good if there had been a guide for this . Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

hotel was pretty good !Staff were helpful and friendly on all occasions which is not the case in some other hotels where some staff are not really interested in the art of speaking or communicating !!This gift is something that the Irish are born with and is not bountiful in other countries !!

Terrific HotelPosted Jul 17, 2013
Pros: Interior decor
Cons: Views from room.
Location: Within easy walking distance of Donegal
This is a terrific hotel with all the amenities one needs when travelling. We stayed here for two nights and found no shortcomings.

Service could be betterPosted Jul 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Room was very welcoming and spacious, with a big bathroom and a comfy bed. There is plenty of parking space and the town centre is a short stroll away. BUT the wait staff and the receptionist were unaccountably surly and inattentive. My partner got snapped at by the receptionist and when having breakfast we had to ask twice for any attention. On the second day there was no gluten free bread despite a request for it the day before. The wifi works only if you are seated with a few meters or so of the front desk. It's very patchy in other parts of the hotel and doesn't work reliably at all in the rooms.

Disappointed with service both in the bar for dinner and breakfast two mornings. Not enough staff to serve everyone.

nice hotel ,food great, staff very friendly, however we complained about our room no 123, blind didn't work and sink plug faulty,we couldn't get a bowl of water to wash properly, and nothing was done to correct this. This was our only complaint and soured our stay
