Overpriced, uncomfortable, unappealing hotel!Posted Jan 2, 2013
Cons: Large tub in the room, dimly lit room, dark hallways, unwashed fruit
Location: Door county
My husband and I stayed for several days in September. We stayed in one of the rooms with a giant tub in the middle of the room, it was kind of ludicrous considering the supposed green attitude of the hotel. The room was extremely uncomfortable - furnished with a love seat and a couple of kitchen chairs. I told my husband we should have utilized the tub which would have blown the savings they get from not changing the sheets, washing cups, etc. Also, the fireplace was not working, the halls and areas by the elevators were scarily dark. There was no person on duty at night at the front desk. And lastly, the sign above the breakfast food they offered stated, rather unappetizingly, that the fruit was not washed.

Our stay in Sister BayPosted Sep 9, 2012
Pros: I liked that the room was very clean and updated.
Cons: I did not like the small TV size.
Location: This was a great location being close to town, but not right in the middle of town.
We really felt that this hotel was a great place. The room was spotless and very updated. The bed was comfortable and we really enjoyed our two night stay. The TV was a little on the small side, as it swivels to serve both the living room area and the bedroom. Other than that, we loved the place. Great location too, we were able to walk anywhere we wanted in Sister Bay, but it was off of the main road enough to not have the noise of traffic or the town.

Not a Premier 1 bedroomPosted Aug 22, 2012
Pros: very clean and plenty of towels
Cons: the continental breakfast and the dim lighting
Location: very good location in Sister Bay
We were disappointed that the "Premier 1 bedroom " was simply a studio...All one room with a tiny kitchenette. There was no place we could read a paper , for sure not 2 of us unless in bed. There was only 1 dim lamp next to the hide a bed and 2 small dim lamps next to the bed. Although there was a hide a bed ,it would be very crowded with more than 2 people.

Great hotel in Sister BayPosted Aug 18, 2012
Pros: The room was clean and very comfortable with jacuzzi tub, fireplace, refrigerator, nice big bed and a great balcony.
Cons: The outdoor pool was small and the lounge chairs uncomfortable.
Location: Fabulous location, right at the intersection of Hwy 57 & 42 in Sister Bay.
We felt that the hotel was a great value for all the amenities (comfortable king size bed, refrigerator, microwave, jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and a great balcony. The location was as close to "downtown" Sister Bay as you could be without being right in the heart of it, so it really was a quiet place.

"Great experience!"Posted Jul 29, 2012
Pros: Provided use of bikes at no cost, cozy room.
Cons: Pre-packaged breakfast food,- nothing was pre-made & no juice.
Location: It wasn't by the water, but near mini golf course & not too far from Peninsula State Park.
Very nice room with fireplace, jacuzzi, king bed, kitchenette, large bathroom. It was well worth the price.

What were they thinking???Posted Mar 28, 2012
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Room layout and oversized awkward furniture
Location: easy walk to Sister Bay stores and restaurants
An architect did a nice job creating a pleasant hotel, which was then decorated by people who never had stayed in a hotel before. The king sized bed was on a huge iron bedstead, which allowed very little room to walk around the bed - very difficult to avoid whacking into the big metal posters in the middle of the night. THe head of this bed was against the bathroom wall where the really loud shower was located. My husband tried to get up early and shower without disturbing me, but the loud water was an effective, if not welcome, alarm clock. The TV didn't rotate much and thus wasn't good to watch from any angle. The luggage area was unlit and away from windows so in was useless when trying to find anything. Light switches randomly worked and were located oddly. Continental breakfast (mind you, this is a resort, not a business hotel) was from 8-9 AM, first come, first served. A large sign noted that "apples are not washed", so I guess we were supposed to take them to our room or a nearby restroom to wash them???? Just a weird, poorly thought out hotel
