Exceeded our expectations!Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Quiet, beautiful and clean. Also, great location.
Location: This location is perfect for anyone wanting to stay in Door County. You are close to the town of Egg Harbor and Fish Creek.
This was our first visit to Door County and had no idea where to stay. We picked the Ashbrooke because it was an adults only hotel and the rooms looked nice online. We were thrilled to see the suite exceeded our expectations. New plush carpet throughout, large rooms, comfortable furnishings and very clean. The only thing we wished we would've had is one of the suites with a patio so we could sit outside. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends. The coffee and muffins were a great touch in the mornings as was the basket of local menus to look through.

Pros: The beds were excellent. Good WiFI, excellent workout room. We didn't use pool, but good in appearance.
Location: Close to all Door County activities and restaurants. Went to play which was only 3 miles away.
We arrived at about 4:00 pm and were checked in by 4:10 pm. Parking was very close and very adequate. Hotel personnel were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Plenty of space in the room. All activities in Door County are easily within 20 miles of the hotel. If you have trouble climbing stairs, be sure to ask for a first floor room.

Quiet and No ChildrenPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: It was very quiet
Cons: Air quality when you first enter the room.
Location: Many shops and historic eating places are available within walking distance
We were happy to be able to check in at such a late notice and have such a wonderful room. It was an immaculately clean hotel and VERY quiet. The pool, sauna and hot tub were excellent and very clean. It felt like we were the only ones in the whole place. The location was within walking distance to downtown and an outdoor concert. We would probably try another place just because there are so many other interesting places. If you like peace and quiet atmosphere, this is a place you'll want to stay. If you want your own personal white robe, upgrade to the next bigger room.

Peace and quietPosted Jul 11, 2014
The Ashbrooke does not cater to families in this busy part of Door County which is why it is an excellent choice for couples. Highly recommended

Fitness roomPosted May 27, 2014
The fitness room was outdated and half the equipment did not work and stuff that did work was old. We told them at checkout and they said they had no idea that they were sorry.

Excellent QUIET hotel for adults onlyPosted May 19, 2014
I am extremely impressed with the Ashbrooke- very clean and nice and quiet! The staff, especially Malia, was very helpful and professional during my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to couples or singles, do you know how nice it was to be in the pool when it is quiet and you don't get whipped in the face with some kid's water noodle!
