“This is a god hotel - dont believe the other bad reviews”

Saw a lot of bad reviews before I booked / arrived - NOT TRUE More than satisfied. Rooms, Bar, Grounds, Restaurant - ALL EXCELLENT Swimming Pool is good Gym needs more equipment - but you can get by

“Short Break to Doorwerth”

The hotel is in a quiet location with easy access to major routes - this suited us as we were visiting various places in the area: FLoriade 2012, Palais Het Loo.. The surrounding park and woodland makes for excellent walks/cycle ways both into Doorwerth or further afield to Oosterbeek or even Arnhem. The hotel facilities are fantastic and are ideally suited to individuals or families - unfortuntely we did not have time to use all of them. We would definitely return to this hotel as the staff were excellent. Due to its location, if you dont want to use the hotel restaurant, you will require to travel to other restaurants. Our only point of deduction would be that the bedrooms are now at a stage where they need to start refurbishing; however we understand that a programme for this is about to start. Despite this we would definitely use this hotel again as it suited our needs and would recommend it to everyone.

“A little out of the way and used mostly for convention type business.”

If you are travelling by car it is fine. The only real disappointment was that the "hot teapot" I was expecting was not in room nor did they have any for use at front desk.
