Nice resort right on the ocean with beautiful pool

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Nice staff members. Beautiful pool areas. Lovely beach area. Close to restaurants and other imenities.
Cons: Beach needs to be cleaned up Casino and golf course are not open Overall updated feel of the rooms
Location: Some shopping Restaurants El Yunque Rainforest The beach
Room wasn't quite as nice as the pictures showed it to be. I understand that the rooms are being renovated, but the pictures were somewhat deceiving. Beautiful grounds and pool area. We really liked the free breakfast that was put on in the morning, where you could order eggs any style. They had plenty of fresh breakfast choices. We also really appreciated the free happy hour that took place from 5:30-7:30.

If you are looking for a quite place in Puerto Rico with your family. This is a good hotel. Short drive to many local restaurants and stores.

Great amenities

Posted Feb 22, 2015
If you're looking for a hotel with great amenities this is it. Pool is awesome, beach ok. It was a little too far from attractions but that was our fault for not realizing PR traffic stinks! Hotel has been "let go" a bit. No golf course or casino any more.

Very pleasant stay

Posted Feb 17, 2015
We had a great time, hotel is right on the beach, they serve amazing complimentary breakfast and also offer evening reception where drinks and some snacks are served free of charge. Just be aware there is not much to do in the area so car is necessary to go anywhere.

Perfect Vacation

Posted Feb 9, 2015
My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Embassy Suites in Dorado. The rooms were clean and spacious with a nice balcony. It was perfect distance from San Juan - out of the hustle and bustle of the city. There were many cute resturants in Dorado to choose from. The pool area was beautiful as was the beach! The problem we had was that we did not stay long enough!

If you get a restored room it's a 3.5 star hotel

Posted Feb 9, 2015
They first put us in a nasty, dirty and smelly room. After we got the room we reserved it was a wonderful stay. Nearby, in Dorado, lots of food choices, like Green House, Metropole, El Capitan, Etc. With the Autopista there is convenient to the whole island. The facility looks just like the Hyatt houses of the 60's and 70's.. Golf course was closed. Use the valet parking.

Love the private beach

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: Private beach
Cons: Need more signs from main gate directing you to the hotel.
Wonderful experience, knowledgeable and courteous staff. Love the breakfast and evening receptions and the fact that you can go to the beach and pool without leaving the hotel.
