“Atlanta Weekend”
Decent stay for the price, pretty much what was expected.
“This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had.”
This hotel was deplorable. It was situated right next door to a cheap nightclub, and we could hear loud music and thumping bass all night. If this weren't bad enough, we spent the night worrying that our room was going to be broken into; we noticed several suspicious-looking people milling around outside. These people were very loud and yelled and carried on into the wee hours of the morning. Although we had a "no-smoking" room, the room had a musty cigarette odor and had cigarette burns all over the furniture. I chose this hotel because I was looking for a no-frills, inexpensive place to stay the night before a half-marathon; needless to say, I got very poor sleep. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, ever, under any circumstance. I would have preferred to sleep in my car, had I not been afraid that something would happen to me if I did.
“Stay at this hotel if you must. Don't feel bad about not staying because they don't want you.”
From the moment you attempt to check in, you will be greeted by a very tall gentleman who looks very annoyed that you have decided to stay with them. If you decide to swim in their pool beware and do not pick up the phone at the pool. It immediately and automatically calls 911 and you will be greeted with the wrath of Mr. Manager and Mr. Security guard, aka rent a cop. You will then be accused of scaling the fence and dialing 911 and will be told that you will be questioned later. Don't worry, since you won't be falling asleep anytime soon because of the parties that last till right around 3:00 a.m. Be ready to get a good 3 or 4 hours of restless sleep and in the morning you will be greeted with a warm cup of coffee in the lounge where as you check out you will feel the friendliness of the same tall gentleman who greeted you so warmly the evening before. I keep wondering if these guys who seem to work close to 24 hours a day, would go home and get some sleep and spend some quality time with their family if they might not be a little more friendly to the guests. We'll probably never know because I don't believe they will be improving anytime soon. And because of this I can only recommend this hotel if you don't have an additonal 5 dollars to stay at a different one.
“Cheap but you get what you pay for”
This hotel is cheap but you really get what you pay for: smelly and dirty hallways even though the rooms themselves are reasonably clean, old furniture and TV in room. Hotel is in decrepit state.
“"need microwave and fridge in room"”
Great location but need microwave and fridge in room. I would have stayed longer with those things there. random guy came to knock on my door, but front desk handled that.
“For the money, it was a nice deal”
My stay was comfortable and the hotel service was friendly and helpful. All I needed was a clean and safe place to sleep for a great price and this fit the bill perfectly. I was not looking for anything fancy, just something clean, functional, convenient to my business meeting and easy on the budget. Great air conditioning! Bathroom very clean. Acccess I285 North or South is very convenient. Some noise in the parking lot at night but nothing that kept me from getting a good night's sleep. Probably best to reserve a room on the front rather than in the back because of a neighboring business that could be a bit of a noise issue.
“Great Price, But You Get What U Pay 4”
While the price was awesome and the location wasn't that bad (only 10-15 mins for Midtown ATL) the other patrons of this hotel where less desirable. On multiple occassions I had to escort my god-kids down to the parking area bc bums/dopefiends would congregate on the steps (sleep or passed out). Mind you that every one of the other guest where pleasant but I just didnt like having my godkids exposed to that type of elements. I would advise that if you have kids or a female spouse not to stay at this hotel. As a guy, i can stay anywhere but if my lady was with me on this trip, i would have had relocated. You also need to check out the iron & ironing board which is a hassle so check it out & iron everything at once.
