2 night stayPosted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: The fact that it was so close to the amenities.
Location: There are lots of things nearby including the sand sculptures
Very pleasant hotel along the Promenade, opposite the nice sandy beach. Short walk to the many shops, pubs and restaurants. Although we only stayed for 2 nights we have been to Weymouth many times.

Nice B&B, very close to the beachPosted Aug 29, 2014
An upmarket b&b. Landlord was helpful and breakfast was lovely. Ensuite was very compact but was very clean. My only hesitation was that the toilet door was like a lattice wardrobe door, but for a short break it was lively and near to everything,

Just OKPosted Aug 27, 2014
I get the impression the owners are gradually doing the place up, so if you get a new room you might have a better experience. Our room was functional and fine for two nights but the decor was very dated, the room was a bit dusty and the facilities didn't really live up to the billing - the TV was smaller than my laptop screen and there was no WiFi in the room. Breakfast was good and it's a good location, but overall this place is just OK.

Ideal for 1 night stop, close to station & beach.Posted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: We booked it for the location and thought it a reasonable price, but were pleasantly surprised by the standard of room and quality of breakfast.
Friendly helpful staff, well-equipped and furnished room, good value for money.

sparkling clean with a* breakfast!Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, fresh cooking, cost and position
We booked on Wednesday, stayed on Friday for 1 night only. The hotel is directly opposite the beach with yellow lines everywhere but...parking was to the rear of the hotel... just a short walk away. The hotel is grade 2 listed with some fabulous - presumably original - ceiling rose/cornice features, fireplaces and windows. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable with full en-suite facilities. Breakfast was cooked to order...recommend the scrambled eggs with sausage and mushrooms...and the cost for two of us was fantastic value at £54 all in!!! Will book again when in the area. Sue S

furniture needs some tlcPosted Jun 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
warm reception, dining area lovely, our room badly needed tlc on furniture, bed headboads were falling off, chairs old & worn with one arm broken, bathroom mould, shaving light not working, lamp in bedroom no bulb ,tv tiny & in a bad position where only one could watch it. bathroom door was a louver slatted door so when light was on, no privacy. plus side bed linen clean, & breakfast, good.

Beautiful ViewsPosted Jun 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
Everything about it was charming! We did have to find a parking spot on the street but were supplied with a permit. It was worth the effort. Breakfast was good .
