I was welcomed by the owners of the Hotel and shown to my room on the first floor. Small but comfortable en suite single room with tea, coffee & TV. The owners, Paul & Anne, had sent me a map and instructions of how to find the Hotel, but there is a complicated one way system locally and it was not easy to locate. It is also on a steep hill, the route on foot to the beach goes through an attractive garden, but takes about 15mins. It is an urban location with a modern shopping centre nearby. It is a dog friendly hotel, Paul & Anne also have 2 dogs but they are in a room where they can see the guests but are prevented by a barrier from getting out. The star turn is the breakfast which is enormous and delicious.

..Although the owners of this hotel are very nice. We were not impressed with the hotel for the very reason they are dog frendly and as soon as you walk in the front door that is all you can smell. On our second night they allowed acouple with three dogs to stay this I thought was not right in a hotel. Had we known about dogs we would not have booked .
