“Will be going back”

Great family hotel, my 4 year old loved the pool and soft play area. Food was reasonably priced and very tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was perfect for our short break. It was in a quiet area which was a must for me with 3 small kids. The room was a lovely big room. There were double & single beds and a bunkbed and you could have had a travel cot there aswell and there would still have been plenty of room to move about.

Really nice hotel does need an update in a few places. My partner our 13 month old daughter asleep in her buggy and myself arrived and were given a room ... Told it was up a floor in 1 lift then across and up in another.. but when we went the 2nd lift wasn't working so got our room changed instantly. Used the Pool every day which was very nice. changing rooms could do with a make over and get rid of rusty floor drain grates but overall fantastic. Great breakfast every day and hotel was making full us of its facilities by hiring out pool for aquaerobics for local pensioners. and main hall for local uni exams.

A well appointed hotel with ample secure parking. The staff were very professional and made us feel welcome. The hotel has very good facilities, including indoor swimming pool, and breakfast kept us going for the whole day. Excellent value for money.. Would definately stay again.

very good hotel, nice and quiet location, the only gripe i had was the bed was a little hard for me and their was a crater in the bottom of the bed where a lot of weight had been put on. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Bournemouth and have to say this was one of the nicest to stay in.

We had a very nice experience in this hotel. The breakfast was superb and I was surprised by the standards of cleanliness. The location of the hotel is nice but a bit away from the towncenter. I will defo go back with this deal.

I am from Bournemouth, I used to live within a few minutes of this hotel and for a while one of the hotels next door was used as an off site college class, which I attended for one academic year. I had never entered the Carrington House prior to my trip, though obviously I was well aware of it. I initially chose for price, location and a complimentary breakfast. What I was lucky enough to book was one of the best 3 stars I have ever stayed in. Great staff all round from reception to the restaraunt. The complimentary breakfast was an outstanding spread which was a stunning suprise. The room was fully equipped with most anything you may need, rooms aren't huge but plenty comfortable, clean and modern bathroom, as a smoker in a non smoking hotel I was wonderfully pleased to have a balcony that I could simply step out on to and light up upon. All this with an on site snooker table, bar, restaraunt and table tennis table, plus indoor pool. resulted in 2 massively satisfied customers, now I'm usually travelling as a couple and don't wanna burden my friends when I go back to Bournemouth, I highly suspect I will be staying in this hotel everytime I return. Only possible complaints, room was tucked up and out the way, old building, means lots of fire exits and doors and stairs between lobby and room. Getting hefty luggage in and out was a bit tough. On the way in staff helped, but we made way out at 4am, so was a little tough. Bad water pressure too.

“Short stay in Bournemouth”

My room. a premium single, was clean and pleasant at the back of the hotel so was very quiet. There is plenty of tea, coffee and toiletries are provided in the bathroom (although the shower Gel is really watery so i'd bring my own) The breakfast is excellent but i was totally ignored by 2 waitresses when i went down and was waiting for a table, this was acknowledged by the restaurant manager who eventually came over and seated me. I have stayed here before and its definately good value for money and is situated in a quiet, tree lined street between Boscombe and Bournemouth so if its peace and quiet you want but centrally located to the town this would be perfect.

“Pleasant stay at Carrington”

Quite a walk from Bournemouth town centre and train station but taxis are ever so cheap and can be called directly from the front desk so no hassle! Lots of parking at this hotel if you do drive. Kettle in our room didn't work however our friends room across the way did so wasn't a major problem. The hotel was locked at night although someone was always on hand to let us in. More family-orientated hotel but overall The Carrington House Hotel was a lovely hotel, clean with chirpy staff - we had a pleasant stay, and even took a swim in the heated pool that we were more than impressed by!

this hotel did not dissapoint. It was very clean comfortable and the staff were very helpful. I would stay here again and would reccomend it to anyone. the breakfast was lovely with plenty to choose from.
