Very nicePosted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: Not too far to walk to pier and beach, clean, comfortable and friendly.
Cons: Couldn't use the heating but not a major issue.
Location: About 25 mins walk to the centre and half an hour to the pier / beaches
Was slightly overpriced due to the inflated prices for the marathon, but very comfortable, pleasant, and staff friendly. Good food too! Would recommend :)

Run by lovely couplePosted Sep 2, 2014
Cons: Broken spring in the bed in our room No 9. Dirt in the corners and the net needed a good wash.
Location: A fair walk to the beach but we don't mind that. Easy drive to the New Forest or Poole and Studland
Super breakfast including a great veggie breakfast. Very convenient for us to visit our family. It was noisy as it is on a major junction and our room was behind the bus stop.

B&B more than HotelPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Local to where I was working in Winton and free wifi in the rooms.
Location: On Business so did not look for things to do!
Stayed here on a business trip for 4 nights. Room was clean and tidy if a little cramped .En suite was fine although the shower was less of a power shower and more of a dribble. Breakfast was served at 8.30 so was out of the hotel before the chef got in. Turned up for my second nights stay to find the towels that were left in the bath to exchange had just been hung on a towel rail so were still wet, and the bed had not been made. I know its only one step up from a B&B aimed at holiday makers but come on swapping 2 towels and making the bed should be basic housekeeping especially paying the premium rates at this time of year. Asked 3 nights on the trot to get a VAT receipt and finally got it whilst waiting at the bar on my final night. Plus points were the free wifi in the room and the tea tray was topped up with biscuits daily.I did not eat at the bar but the food looked good and the bar was not too noisy and I could not hear any noise from my room through the night.

I would defiantly stay here againPosted Aug 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
This place is a real find. 15mins walk to the sea front. The room was spacious, clean and up to date. Very nice staff and the food was good as very reasonably priced. Plenty of parking great for working in the area.

Convenient having a restaurant to handPosted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: Having the restaurant so you didn't have to worry about drinking and driving
Cons: Double glazing on the front rooms to keep the noise levels down.
Stayed here for two nights. Had a room on the front of the hotel. It was very hot when we stayed so had to have the bedroom window open. First night was fine as all visitors left around 11 but on the Friday night the bar doesn't shut until 12. Whilst the bar staff did their best to move the people on, they stayed talking in the car park for almost another hour so we were unable to get to sleep. However having the bar and restaurant meant it was great to get a cold drink and the food was good too and not overly priced. Would stay here again but would ask for a quiet room next time.

Lovely welcoming hotelPosted Jul 14, 2014
We only stayed for one night but will without a doubt return. Staff were very polite and friendly. The room was just right, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, a selection of juices and cereals plus full English amongst other options. Excellent value for money. We didn't eat evening meal there but the food smelt divine. The hotel was overall excellently presented and located. We would recommend to others and would love to return ourselves.
