Pros: it was in the right place to where we needed to be .
Cons: the range of food and more draws in the rooms as we only had one ,and a smoking shelter
Location: great for the shops and close to roads that take you anywhere you want to be
our stay was ok the range of food on offer was disappointing both at evening meal and the cooked breakfast there was a hole in the net curtain and the wall light was not working which made the room very dark in the evening you could also do with a smoking shelter we both smoke and its not nice standing in the rain as was other people ,we had to take the lid off the shower gel as it was too thick to come out of the pump there was also a light out in the bathroom.

Sleep

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Lady on desk, was unsocial, didn't even smile once while I was their, the gentleman that booked us in was very pleasant, we had to leave at 0600hrs and the morning staff was also pleasant and helpful. Didn't get much sleep due to being next to the lift and the stairs also the fan keep me awake. I could also hear a train that went past, double glazing and sound proofing walls wouldn't go amiss

Comfortable, walking distance to many local sites

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: Clean and centrally located in the area.
Cons: The addition of vegetarian options to the breakfast buffet.
Location: The hotel is walking distance to the train/bus station, Dolphin Mall. The property is adjacent to the walking path which leads you to Poole Park.
Stayed for 6 days for Sons wedding. The hotel is on the main walking path to many local sites, Quay, Dolphin Mall and Town Centre. the staff was very helpful with wrapping up those last minute needs for the wedding.

i have a BIG problem with breakfast

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: What I would expect from a Holiday Inn Express
Cons: Stop being politically correct and start thinking about your paying customers
Location: Fine, on business trip. What I expected
No bacon because not wanting to offend religions. its hypocritical because they offend others by what they offer thats left. From now on I wont use Holiday Inn Express. They discriminate against the incumbent population

Stayed there for 2 night on business trip. The check-in staff checked-in me even though I arrived early. Friendly staffs. Overall, had a very pleasant experience.

Poole Park rocks

Posted Jan 7, 2015 on Hotels.com
We visited Poole to see family, the staff were really welcoming and receptive to any problems we encountered. e.g. Door pass key and TV remote control. There was a few things from the bar menu unavailable but suitable alternatives were there. The cooked breakfast was limited but sufficient, with plenty of different options. Poole park is right next door (2-5 min walk) and great for a stroll or for the kids to play, ask at reception for directions.

One Night Sleep Only

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: The staff were accommodating
Cons: Change the Beds put heating on in the dinning room
Location: Irrelevant
The Hotel is tired and need a refresh. Booked 5 nights cut the stay short (did not claim a refund as not worth the effort) due to the following:- 1. Dinning area very cold (although did heat up on the 3rd night 2. Bed very uncomfortable - (sank in the middle) sofa bed more comfortable 3. Outside area at the back dirty not clean The hotel would be ok for a one/two night business trip but nothing longer.
