It is what it is - A 3* hotelPosted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: The location is fantastic and being able to make use of both sister hotels which are located either side. Lovely view at the front.
Cons: The bathrooms in my eyes could do with some updating and the towels need to be bigger. The entertainment was slightly dated and in need of a boost.
Location: Within walking distance to town where there are a large variety of activities for all ages.
Very welcoming on arrival, friendly staff, excellent housekeepers and housekeeping. Food excellent, swimming pool of a good standard and warm. When we checked in we were given a room at the rear of the hotel. The smell of food cooking was very strong considering we were on the 3rd floor and there was a hole in the bath. I went immediately to the reception and they upgraded us to a smaller room and smaller bathroom but it did have a sea view. I feel that some of the hotel could do with being updated although you get what you pay for.

Great atmosphere in this hotelPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: Staff. Location.
Cons: Rooms need a touch of updating but bed really comfortable
Location: Right by the sea and near the lift down to amazing beach
Great atmosphere in this hotel. Welcoming staff. Lovely swimming pool. Enjoyed the breakfast and the courtesy of the staff. Veronika from the Czech Republic looked after my wife and me with great attention and humour. We felt really welcome in this hotel and it is very well run.

Ideal locationPosted Oct 3, 2013
Pros: Location Spa at adjoining hotel Swimming pool
Cons: Refurbishment & comfier mattresses
Location: Easy walk to Boscombe or centre of Bournemouth
Close to Boscombe and Bournemouth. Room 115 to be avoided - dark, surrounded by walls of adjoining hotel. Difficult even to see the sky. Sea view rooms beautiful and spacious. Staff very pleasant but omissions made e.g. no paper delivered as requested, breakfast table allocated to someone else, bar food order not put through.

Large hotel on East Cliff overlooking the beachPosted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Comfortable lounge bar and the restaurant menu changed daily and was good value. All staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful
Cons: Perhaps a bit more information in the bedroom about food available in the bar, there was only a breakfast menu for room ordering.
Location: Located close to the pier and entertainment. Many attractions nearby accessible from Bournemouth square, served by a good bus service.
Wanted to get away for a restful weekend, hotel well situated close to the cliff lift down to the beach or reached by a zig-zag path. Local bus service Monday to Saturday to town square for connection to county wide buses. On Sunday used taxi, plentiful and inexpensive.

Ok, with not complete piece of mindPosted Sep 10, 2013
For £150, the room was not up to the mark. The windows were dirty, broken wardrobe, old electric fittings and the washroom extractor fan wasn't working. 2ndly there should be parking for each room, if not in the premises the hotel should have some permits to park on the road. Since I didn't find the parking I had to pay £10 more. Also there should be a clear mention of parking facilities. I would now prefer b n b instead of a hotel like this.

Getting into the carpark...Posted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
After driving for 3 hours It was not possible to enter the carpark and it took 3 phone calls to the hotel from outside to get someone to lift the rope barrier. The family room was awful, clastraphobic and a sweatbox with a small inadequate window ...worst 2 nights ever. Also, breakfast ends at 10.00am but staff packed away at 9.36am and it was off-putting for guests to go up for food!

Great locationPosted Sep 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our stay, considering this was a very busy period. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside was that we were allocated a room right next to the lift, we were then given the option to move to another room but on viewing decided to stay as the alternative was very substandard. The hotel corridors could do with a makeover. Laundry service extremely good. Hotel very clean. Location excellent for the air show.

Great Service and FoodPosted Sep 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were there on the first day of the Air Festival so very busy and the Hotel coped well will the deluge. Friendly and helpful staff, first class food. The place is starting to show its age, but it's well maintained and clean. Would stay there again.

The room and especially the bathroom were very dated. The service was great especially the bar and restaurant staff not so much the reception. The breakfast was alright. Great location. Parking was limited and you have to be lucky to get a space.
