Very welcoming friendly staff. Delicious evening meal and breakfast. Room was clean, comfortable and cosy. Will definitely recommend and return. Very good value for money.
Historical property, quiet this time of year (end of Sept) and friendly staff. Great food too. Well worth visiting if you’re in the area! Close to the Tank Museum and good local taxis.

Rooms are clean but a bit sparse. Overpriced for what it was, I won’t be back.
Very nice 3 night stay. Evening meals were good - though service poor on the second night. Breakfasts ok, but would have preferred a continental option.
happy to recommend.
A very peaceful and relaxing night spent in the bar for a meal and drinks. Our room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything you need.
We enjoyed a cooked breakfast in the morning. The food evening and morning was delicious and a good range of options.

Vulnerable to noisy neighbours
Everything was fine but walls were quite thin. The risk is then getting noisy neighbours which unfortunately we did and ended up not getting to sleep until late
Another Quality night away, thanks to Hotels.com. This Pub had absolutely everything we wanted in a stay. Spotlessly clean, lovely comfortable bed, fab view of the rabbits in the field. Every single aspect was perfect for us. Really pleasant staff, throughout, but a special shout to the reception/barman/waiter/ all round lovely feller who gave us extra special treatment the whole stay. Highly recommended.

Rooms were lovely. Spacious and freshly decorated.
However the day we visited the kitchen staff came down with Covid so there was no evening meal.
Also it was VERY hot and the morning staff seemed to have had a poor night of sleep (as did we all). They did not know what was available in the kitchen (we asked for gluten free bread and oat milk and they had to check). Service was slow and we weren't offered jam with the toast
Lovely place on the country. Shown to our room which was amazing. Clean and plenty of room for our family. We arrived late but they accommodated us for food as the kitchen had closed.
Lovely garden and lots of parking front and back entrance.
Only stayed the one night but have stayed there before I find the countryman Inn a very comfortable place to stay highly recommend it and the food is great
Relaxing and quaint. Simple and comfortable rooms and a great beer garden.

The property was ok,no room service in 3days, management trying to run it because no staff, like faulty towers because they hadnot a clue restraunt no wine list ,the menu was geting smaller by day same with breakfast as they ranout of produce, excuses given were puerile. Highlighting their inexperience, totally out of their depth.
The Countryman is a gem! The pictures do not even come close to accurately representing the atmosphere. There is a cozy pub and restaurant, outdoor dining and activity area, and the rooms are very comfortable. Donna and Dave are wonderful hosts. The food was great, and you feel right at home. We were disappointed we only stayed one night!!
Friendly reception. Good sized room, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a meal in the evening which was good. The service was good and the atmosphere relaxed .I was grateful they managed to provide breakfast when the breakfast staff were unable to be there because they had COVID. I would happily return. Very close to the fabulous World Heritage site at Lulworth Cove
The hotel and room were ok, the reception staff were a bit rude, our meal in the restaurant was awful and some of the food was inedible and overpriced.
The owners were extremely welcoming the suite was fabulous and the bed was so comfortable we could have stayed in it all day! Wonderful breakfast and such a lovely time!
Our stay as 2 adults and 3 children amazing hotel room really spacious warm and value for money,
Owners were lovely and the food outstanding highly recommend this place to anyone thank you very much Williamson family
Great location for us to explore Duddle Door, Jurrasic Coast and Beaches nearby. The room was big and spacious for the family of 4. Excellent Breakfast and friendly staff.
Comfortable beds, with clean crisp bedding. The room had everything we needed and was big and spacious. Although they were very understaffed, the women checking us in couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. I was really impressed.
