Cosy, very clean & convenient area!Posted Nov 5, 2013
After I decided wich hotel to go to, I chose the pindale as the location was my priority. It was a very good place to stay and the staff was helpful. Although the owners were not in the reception and had to wander for almost 3h, the hotel was super clean and cosy. I would come back again!

Pros: Location & breakfast (except sausages).
Cons: Timing for breakfast could be improved, 8am to 9am is a bit tight, should be 7am to 9.30am otherwise see comments in experience section.
Location: At the top of a hill so not recommended for people with walking difficulties unless they have transport, otherwise see comments in experience section.
Staff friendly, near beach & town centre, breakfast very good apart from cheap awful sausages. Room very small with outdated headboard on bed, uncomfortable mattress & small pillows. Bathroom part good, part bad. Shower ok with only a little mould at bottom corners but handbasin small. Toilet seat not fitted properly nor was flush handle. Rack for toilet bag, etc., going rusty. Kettle too big to fill from tap in washbasin. Do not stop here in a room at the front on a Friday or Saturday as hotel across road and others nearby cater for Stag parties, etc., so you get the noise of drunks keeping you awake until about 4am. Suggest that they spend a little money and get rid of the outdated velour headboard, get a more comfy mattress & pillows and new bedding. Alex Polizzi would have a ball here. It's a pity as the owners try hard and, as I said earlier, are friendly & helpful, they just need to update the place to bring it up to hotel standard rather than B&B standard as it is very convenient for the town centre & beach and the price is just right..

Ideal location for beach and townPosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
I booked the Pinedale as a budget stopover whilst attending the University Open Day with my daughter. The hotel far exceeded my expectations, with the owners being very friendly, our twin room was nice and clean, and we had been upgraded to an en-suite at no extra cost, which was a lovely surprise. The breakfast was first class, and served in a pleasant, light and airy dining room. We will definitely stay there again when next in Bournemouth.

Wi-Fi could do with being sorted - patch at best. Frequently dropped out.Walls between rooms seemed thin, could hear shower being run in next room.Fantastic breakfast, friendly owners. Great service.

Pleasant hotel near the sea frontPosted Aug 22, 2013
Pros: I enjoyed the choice of breakfast. Free parking. Good internet speed and ease of access. friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location.
Cons: The electric shower in the bathroom was not very powerful. Room a little on the small side.
Location: The seafront was 5 minutes walk. The park was about 10 minutes walk and so was the shopping area. The hotel was 2 minutes from bars and restaurants.
Enjoyed a lovely 4 night stay at this hotel situated 5 minutes walk from the sea front. The breakfast was of a good standard with a good choice of breakfast available. Used this hotel for visiting bournemouth beach and walking around the town. Staff informed us the bus stop was a short walk which takes you to Swanage. This was useful. Enjoyed the Thai restaurant situated nearby as well as Italian restaurants and the irish pub.

Could not fault the service, breakfast excellent, cleanliness first class The only downfall room 14 on top floor was pretty cramped .I had difficulty getting in and out of shower,I don't think my husband being 17 stone would have managed to get in .We did not complain as we were late booking and that was the only room available at the time .Would stay there again in a different room.l

Not good enoughPosted Aug 7, 2013
Pros: The breakfast was very good and Rocio, the waitress, was extremely friendly
Cons: Only one shower room and a unusable bath room.
Location: Bournemouth is a very nice city and the hotel is not a bad location.
The hotel was ok but having only one shower facilities for a 16 rooms hotel is just not good enough.
